another being rehomed because their to big. IBC Biewer Yorkie IBC Biewer Yorkie - Central Valley Dogs & puppies, Pets - Kijiji Central Valley I dont get how any one can rehome a dog because it got bigger then they wanted it to. |
That is sad - my dex is a teapot and we love him so much could never give up our kids because they are too big - people are whacked |
If he weren't in CA, he'd be coming home with me right now. How sad! :( |
This makes me sick i wonder if they dislike people because some are over weight including me |
I wanted a small Yorkie not a tiny one but a smaller one. Now if he would of ended up 20 or more lbs. I wouldnt of cared. he would still stay with me. I just dont get people. |
I don't understand, either. It's heartbreaking. I suppose they just want a decoration and not a living, breathing, loving baby. 12 lbs isn't big. |
I am so confused. I posted this thread in OT because many were complaining about putting these types of ads in this section. and now its been moved here? |
Omggg, he is a DOLLBABY! I wish I could take him. :( |
This is so sad....would she get rid of a child if they got to big? What is up with that....we would love Lexi if she was 25 lbs...LOL although with her little chicken legs I would have to say she would be a sight to see...LOL Hugs Cheryl and Lexi hope this little doll baby gets a REAL home:D |
That is sad. If they did not bond enough with this dog in the months that they had him, then something is worng with the people. How can you bring a puppy into your home and not love it. |
Did you ever think it could be a breeders dog and it is to big to breed? |

I dont know why he needs to be rehomed but I do know some apartments only allow an up to size. We lived in a place one time that only allowed 7lbs and under. If your dog got any bigger you had to move or rehome. Now Im not saying this is the case but you never know. |
You never know what the circumstances are. It sounds bad, but there could be a story behind it. Maybe the person has a medical condition where they can't lift things over 10 lbs, maybe their apartment doesn't allow dogs over a certain weight, maybe it's from a breeder. It's always a sad situation. and I truly hope that this little one (who is ADORABLE) can find a wonderful home. But I just wish people would stop jumping to conclusions. :( |

I would hope this person went back to her breeder and asked for help .. so far we don't have a ton of Biewers in mills so many of the Biewer contracts say the dogs have to go back to them.... I would really like to know who the breeder of this dog is.... |
there could be many reasons behind it. the main thing is him finding a good home. thats really all that matters. |
I thought that the ad read as though the breeder was selling the puppy--grew too big to breed. Maybe I was reading more into it. But if the puppy comes from a breeder, I hope the breeder gets in touch with this buyer. No breeder guarantees size but most are willing to work with their buyers if the puppy is too big or even too small for breeding. |
This makes me sad. Poor little baby :( |
If I was a dog my back would be bristling! How cruel! AS long as hehas a sweet disposition, who cares? His puppy pic is adorable. If he was in MA he would be nestled here with Tessa and me playing with a bullie or a stuffie. My heart breaks. |
I just saw the cutest pic next to your note (which I totally agree with) Wonder if these weirdos give their kids away when they grow up bigger than they wanted??? Anyway I want to know, is that a white Yorkie???? Have never seen one before. My little Pooh bear is my first Yorkie. I wonder why I ever had, German Shepard, Bassett Hound, and horses.??? |
