Nan, I don't know how you feel about this but maybe you could consider a rescue :) I know there is a Rocky Mountain Yorkie Rescue but their website is down this morning. I did put a few others down but if you do a google search for Yorkie Rescue Colorado you might find a great little buddy or sister for Dolly. If you are patient you will find exactly what you would like in terms of size and maybe age. Rescue will get puppies from time to time but that is rare. I had 3 came in that were all in the 7 months to 2 year range and boy were they still puppies...chuckle, chuckle..of course one of the main reasons they were given up was because of housetraining problems but I am sure you could overcome that. Mine all play very well together and only had a few arguments but then what little kid doesn't. http://adopt-a-yorkie.1-800-save-a-pet.com/ http://dogs-puppies.dogs-central.com...s-rescues.html www.petfinder.com Just remember that alot of people will give Yorkie's as xmas gifts :thumbdown and when it doesn't work out they call rescue. There is always alot more that come in at a young age during May, June, July because the people don't have the time, patience or know how to take care of these little ones. It sure would make you feel better that you helped save a life and got a buddy for Dolly :D Cindy & The Gang :aimeeyork |
