5 year old yorkie female rescued from puppymill Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - BeBe - Northeast Ohio Dogs & puppies, Pets - Kijiji Northeast Ohio 5 year old yorkie female rescued from puppymill. Bebe weighs 9-10 pounds. 5/14/09- BeBe was taken to the vet today to have her eyes checked. Both eyes are infected and BeBe also has a skin infection from flea infestation. Her left eye is suspected to be exuberant scar tissue from a previous untreated ulcer/infection or could possibly be a mass, this eye needs to be removed (Enucleation) Her right eye is suspected microphthalmia(possibly since birth) Microphthalmia is a condition where the dog has a small eye which appear recessed in the eye socket. It is believed that Bebe is completely blind because of these conditions. Dogs can still live happy lives being blind, she will need a special home. She still has a good chance of having the life that she so deserves, but was denied by the miller that bred her and did not give her the medical treatment she needed so badly. This can be a genetic condition and poor BeBe should have never been bred. BeBe is spayed, had a dental, had her eye removed, microchipped, and is vaccinated . Adoption fee is $150 Please consider sponsoring BeBe. Please pray for BeBe. Despite all of this Bebe is a wonderful, sweet dog. This just makes me want to sit and cry. I can't imagine the pain this little girl has had to endure through out her short life already. |
