Someone please help this girl! Craigslist ad. I can't believe this.
 

I just found this listed on the Baton Rouge craigslist. I am at work and cannot email this person. I'm hoping someone here can help.
This is what the ad says:

Larger female yorkie 10 lbs?
Bred to Parti Poodle Male 4 weeks ago
Going back to work so she won't get as much attention as she is use to!!
Very sweet girl
Can email pics and info

Hopefully I won't get fired for this, but I posted an add asking the person to call me.

I wish I could email her directly.

I hate to see that poor baby end up with some breeder.

I can't open it from this dumb work computer.
I hope someone e-mails her to tell her the danger she
is putting her dog in.
Some people just don't think, are too trusting or just plain
heartless.

OMG, They breed her 4 weeks ago now they dont have time for her..

My work email is the same way. I cannot respond by email to craigslist ads. I don't know how long it will take for my ad to post. I live in MS just about an hour and half drive from Baton Rouge. I will drive there this evening if I have to. She has no idea how dangerous pregnancy can be for a yorkie, not to mention rehoming one half way through a preg. I am just sick for that poor little dog.

If someone is able to email her for me I would so appreciate it. I will pm you my phone number to email to her if you just email her for me.

My ad on craigslist posted. I pray she checks back with craigslist and sees it.

She looks like a larger Yorkie. She's adorable and I pray get's in the right hands.
I feel sad that's she's in an outside crate with a yard like that.

Yeah she is adorable. this just breaks my heart.
She does state that she weighs 10lbs.
This is what she said in her email:

Hi I have a 2 year old little boy and she has never offered to bite or growl at him I keep a close eye on them anyway cause I know he can worry her to death she is too big for him to pick up but he does not care the good thing is he can't hurt her easy.
She goes in and out mostly out now bc i have a my pom inside now and she is a little jealous and the pom just had babies and i did not want her to hurt them. She is CKC registered. She is healthy I have all of her information. I saw her breed to my poodle who is a black/white parti about 4 weeks ago. She bred twice don't know if she took or not she feels like she may be getting a little belly she should not have but about a month til they will be born if she is pregnant. I am going back to work and just don't have as much time to spend with her as i would like and its not fair to her. She is starting to turn silver I saw her parents they are blue and silver gorgeous dogs. so i am sure she will turn as well. I have seen yorkie-poos on the computer and papers for 200-250 and they are cute dogs. Just need to find her a good home before i go back to work. I will give you the dads info so you could register the babies if you would like

I read the OP and thought, oh no, another BYB is trying to cash in on the fad for designer dogs.

The owner isn't sure if the dog is pregnant?

Does she really think the average potential dog owner will pay $200 for an adult dog in this condition?

Bless all of you for trying to come to the rescue....I'll pray that it works out.

Sadly I've called the number forwarded to me time and again with no answer. I have left messages. I don't know what is going on with this woman but I'm praying that she didn't just hand over the dog to the first person that had the money. I don't know why she's not answering the phone.

I will not give up until I talk to her personally

I do not want to keep the dog, but I do want to make sure that she gets into a good home and gets spayed asap.

Keep your fingers crossed that she will answer or return my call.

Sadly, I was finally able to contact this person. I was told that the dog was spoken for but she would keep my number and call if the person did not pick up the dog.

I tried to tell her how important it was for a pregnant dog to go to a home with someone experienced in dealing with pregnancies and was told (rudely) that the person getting the dog had "a lot of little dogs and raised puppies and knew what she needed to about raising puppies." I then expressed my concern that she may be a BYB or puppymill and was told "she (the woman getting the dog) was a good person and just loved raising puppies." She then ended the phone call.

I'm through looking at craigslist ads. It's too emotionally draining for me. I just pray that the situation this dog is going to is not as bad as it seems.
