Yorkie Rescue in South Korea I recently came across an organization, Animal Rescue Korea (ARK), here in South Korea that rescues Yorkies and other animals from kill-shelters and bad situations. I know at least a handful of YT-ers are military, teachers, etc, in Korea, so I wanted to post this link. Maybe someone can help one of these little guys. The network is run by English-speakers, which is a rarity in Korea. You can help ARK by fostering, adopting, volunteering, and providing supplies. Animal Rescue Korea If anyone wants to adopt one of these guys from the US, I am willing to help make arrangements for travel. There are at least 4 Yorkies available for adoption right now. Two are in foster homes and/or no-kill shelters, and two are in a kill-shelter. The ones in the kill shelter have only a couple days (if that) left. WOW - this was really nice of you to post this :) I went to look at the 2 Yorkies in the High Kill Shelter and they are NOT there any more :( :( :( |

That's so sad. It's terrible to say this since they deserved to be loved, but at least they are at peace now. It just broke my heart thinking of them in that "shelter", which in actuality is a moving van packed with cages. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I wish I could have taken them both home myself. :( |
