Adult Male Yorkie in Washington 3 Attachment(s) This is not my dog Scruffy is a little nugget of sunshine bursting with love! Scruffy loves the company of other dogs and lights up when his human companion tells him how handsome he is! Scruffy is looking for a devoted person/family who will take care of his medical, physical and emotional well being for the rest of his life. Scruffy was born approximately May 2003. He is in the early stages of kidney disease and requires life-long medication and a special diet. He has luxating patella's that do not yet require surgery, but sometimes cause him a little discomfort. For this, he takes Synovi G3 and Rymidal when needed. His teeth require monitoring and CET chews help with their up-keep. When Scruffy came to us our doctors found a mass on his liver. After further consultation with a specialist, it was determined that he needs a lobectomy- the removal of a lung lobe. KSF is paying for this very expensive surgery that will happen on 8/31. Recovery is 14 days and we expect him to pull through and be ready to find his forever family!
