2 Year old Female in Madison, Wi 1 Attachment(s) Pixie is an adorable little girl that, due to a divorce and relocation, needs a new home. She is sweet and loving. Please email me for more information! sarah@yorkiesllc.com She is in Madison, WI. Her current owner is willing to travel to drive Pixie to her new home and meet the new family. She is only asking for the gas money to drive to the new home (and she is willing to go a little ways as long as Pixie finds the RIGHT home). |
She is so sweet looking! Poor baby. If the owner does not find a home, is she willing to surrender her to rescue? Maybe YTNR could help? |
we do not want her to go to a shelter or to have to surrender her to rescue - the owner wants to know where she is going and meet the new family - so do I. If we cannot find a home for her, I will bring her home. We just thought our first option would be to find a home somewhat locally for Pixie so that she isn't being carted all over the country. We (the breeders) live in Missouri and Pixie is in Wisconsin. Pixie will be 2 on April 7th 2010 (so, she's not quite 2). And she weighs 6 pounds. |
Good...as long as she is ok! I hope you find her a wonderful home! |
Sent you a pm. |
We might be interested. I am new to the forum, so I hope you got my PM. We live in the Chicago suburbs. Is she still looking for a home? |
update Pixie is still looking for a new home. Here is some more info from her owner: "Pixie born April 7, 2008.* She has been with me since*November 2008. *She weighs 6lbs.* She has lived with a Weimaraner, two cats (who are twice her size) and three young children and she gets along with all of them (except one of the cats, Paisley.*They get snippy with each other sometimes).* Pixie is very attached to me and feels a need to protect me by going bananas if someone enters a room when we are together, but she doesn't bite.* She steals my dirty clothes from the bathroom floor or hamper and takes them to her kennel or just to the couch to snuggle and sleep with them.* She is truly a sweetheart and loves to be craddled in my arms like a baby and she can NOT get enough belly rubs!* Pixie likes her bath and being brushed, but the blow drying is not her favorite.* I have never had her groomed since I've had her so her "hair" is long and flowy.* I just keep her bathed and brushed and she looks great.* I don't have a recent picture of her uploaded on my computer, but I will send a few that I do have.*I have to find a new home for Pixie because I am recently separated from my husband of 14 years and I'm having a very hard time finding a living arrangement that is dog friendly and affordable all at the same time, in addition to the fact that I have had to start working more hours now that I am on my own and she isn't getting nearly the attention she is used to.* Because she's had less attention since we've been here in Madison, Pixie has regressed in her house training.* If you keep her on a good potty schedule she does fine, but she doesn't go to the door to be let out, so if your not paying attention, she will go potty in the house.*" |
Is this the same Yorkie on your profile page? They look so different. Ear's are errect in your profile and ears are down in the picture in this thread. Both adorable tho. |
The baby I have pics of on my profile is Catherine. This is Pixie, a Yorkie we sold a year ago that is now looking for a new home. |
I would love to give Pixie a good home but I live in Georgia :( |

We are about 4 1/2 hours from Madison or approx 276 miles one way. We have a rescue Yorkie and a huge cat. If she is not already rehomed how soon would you need her to be. |
Apparently I wasn't getting emails when a reply was posted in this thread. :( But, the GREAT news is, thanks to everyone here on YT, Pixie has found a new home!!! Her new mommy is a YTer, so I\'m sure we will get updates soon! |
Good to hear! |
