That is sad that nobody can care for him any longer . . .really sad! If I didn't have 2 already, I'd certainly take him . . .to live out the rest of his senior years and be pampered. . . I'm truly saddened by this entire thing . . .:( |

How sad :(.. the post has been deleted so hopefully his new home will be his last. |
I looked up the OP and it has been deleted my the Author. I hope that means the little guy got a new forever home... |
I saw this too. I immediately wrote and asked them to find a yorkie rescue. I also suggested that they come to this site for help. I pray he found his forever home. |
Did you see the other add for yorkies under 2 yrs old? I wrote to this one to try to find out more info but have not heard back. It is still there this morning. |
I cannot believe someone would give away an eleven year old dog! :thumbdown |
OMG, I feel horrible that after 11 years with a family, he's going. How will he survive without his family of 11 years. I'm so sad Carol and Jemma |
11 years and NOW they don't have the time. People really disgust me!! Elaine |
Ads like this really upsets me. how can anyone keep a dog for 11 years then one day say thay no longer have time for him/her? You take a dog in and keep it that long you make time damn it. No animal deserves this. that poor baby. |
I picked him up on Friday! 2 Attachment(s) Hi everyone- I was lucky enough to see this ad as soon as it was placed and responded. In all fairness to this woman, she had only had him 3 months, and really didn't know what she was getting herself into with a yorkie. He's had at least 4 owners. Turns out, after weeding through all the paperwork, he is actually 12 years old. I had him completely vetted yesterday, with no major problems other than nasty teeth. The vet recommended we wait 3-6 months before doing a dental, as there are no infections...just some nasty SWAMPMOUTH! Ugh! The doc feels he's been through enough the last several months. He is acclimating fairly well to his 3 sisters, and I have to give my husband credit for hardly blinking when I walked in the door with "look what I found". Ideally, I believe he is best suited as an "only child". He really seems quite content and relaxed when he doesn't have to deal with the other dogs in the house. (Our oldest is 15 and has a brain tumor...) I will be taking good care of him, and if I can't find a suitable home for him, then so be it. I knew the YT community would be the best resource to place him in the right home- so if anyone is interested in this 12 yo, please PM me. |
You are an Angel. I cant believe he has had 4 homes....We will keep bumping this to try and get him placed...Im so glad he is the right hands now...Welcome to YT..... |
