OMG! A must read ~ SAD! So I responded to a craigslist ad and this is what he wrote back to me: Hello, My family has been searching for a small dog. We tried the Save a Yorkie rescue but were denied. I think they got spooked by our 80 pound Golden Retriever that is just a baby doll. My daughter is wanting the small dog and she is very responsible. The yorkie rescue suggested we start going to shelters. At the Animal Rescue at Maryland Line we saw a little yorkie who was just beautiful. She had been rescued from a puppy mill. She was absolutely terrified. All she could do is lean up against the wall and shake violently. They said that if you touch her she goes to the bathroom. It broke my heart to see her so afraid. So I am going to call in the A.M about her. How heartbreaking ~ Poor girl! |

Please let us know. I never thought Daisy could over come her fear of people and she is slowly starting to trust and is such an loving dog. I am amazed at the forgiving nature of animals. Some of these poor babies have been through hell with people and still are willing to trust and live a happy life. |
Well.. I did call today and left a message for the adopting agent. The person who had sent the email wrote me back saying that they were heading down there today. Unfortunately, not to get her but she did say that she thought the reason the girl wasn't on the website is because they(shelter) doesn't think she is "adoptable" I am hoping the adopting agent is in tomorrow and returns my call. If not, I will have to wait until Monday morning. |
is ther any news on this little one? |
I've left a message but haven't received a reply. Things have been a bit hectic around here the past few days but I do plan on calling back tomorrow morning to see if I can get ahold of someone. |
