Cage# 29 available for adoption 3/31 has one tiny eye with cataract and one defective ear quiet/gentle/lap dog loves to be held, walks well on leash, bathes/grooms well (pic shows before bath). 7#'s. red/black 3 or 4 yrs old.

That is so sad. I'm surprised someone hasn't adopted her. She's still a young dog. I hope she finds a good home.

The adoption fee is $14 for the dog license and $15 for the adoption fee.

The new owner will receive a $50 voucher for the spay or neuter.

For dogs that are in high demand, there will be a lottery to choose the adoptor. The vast majority will be adopted without a lottery.

Is there any reputable rescues in Ohio that can take her? I live in NJ. I am so sad that places still use gas. Makes me sick to my stomach and what makes it even worse is she's not the only one there at risk. Elaine

I hope someone steps forward for this little on....as for the gas I had no idea they used such a barbaric way of euthanising :mad:

Has anyone called about her? I may call tomorrow to see what the story is. Elyria is 5 hours, 44 minutes from me. I'd be more than happy to participate in getting her to a new home. Just a thought.

Here is a link to a Yorkie rescue in Ohio. The board members can be sent an email and link to the shelter. I normally don't get involved with rescue but hopefully one of you rescue people can make the contact.

Hopefully someone got this little one out , I posted the original post but since Iam here in Scotland could not do anything about it but hoped that someone here could. Hopefully someone will update us to let us know if she is OK
