THIS IS NOT MY DOG!

Heidi (Yorkie) needs a New Home.

they claim they don't have time to groom her - she is 7 mths old, 3 lbs



- Breed: Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie)
- Ages: 7 months
- Color: Black, Tan, & Silver
- Weight: approx- 3 lbs.

I have a very small-approx. 3 lbs. (we believe she is fully grown)- full-blooded female yorkie. Her parents were CKC registered…I may still have the paperwork to register Heidi (if I can still find it!) We did not register her b/c we were not planning on breeding her. She is about 7 months old, and has not been spayed. She is wonderful with children...I have a 2 year old that likes to push her in the stroller. We have 2 other dogs that she also gets along well with. We are in the process of house training her. When I bought her I did not realize the "up-keep" that she would require. -We live in a very secluded area and she likes to play outside with our other dogs...when she comes back in her coat is in a mess. She requires brushing almost daily. My husband and I are very busy and I cannot devote the time that she needs for grooming. (It is a job to shampoo, condition, brush, and blow-dry her hair!) Heidi is also very loving dog and wants to be held often...I feel like I am neglecting her because I cannot put forth the "cuddle-time" she needs. She is up-to-date on her shots and I would be happy to transfer her files from my vet to yours. Please express your interest via e-mail (see below). I will be happy to send pictures.

By the way…her coat is in a mess from a recent trip to the lake. She has been washed but may need to be clipped (or possibly a dog groomer could brush her out??)...A groomer and her new owner could make the decision.

I paid $1500 for her when she was 10 weeks old. I am asking 750.00 OBO.

Did anyone check on this little girl?? She's in my area and am going to email her to make sure she doesn't end up in the pound. Just seeing if anyone got in contact with her or if the dog is still awaiting a home??

Could you possibly give her a forever home?

No response yet but it hasn't even been a day so well see. I'm hoping she's found a GOOD home already. I just offered the woman some help in finding a home for the dog. I told her if she really can't keep her I would take her but I want to try to find her a home first as we really can't have another animal (we live on a military base and are already one animal over limit).
