Please meet Shadow/Foster. Shadow is an adorable Yorkie mix, who came into the shelter with pneumonia, but is all better now. He is a 4-month-old little guy, who loves other dogs and every person he meets. Playing is at the very top of his list of favorite things to do. Shadow feels very comfortable in his crate, in fact that is the only place he will eat his meals, and he keeps it very neat and clean. When we go outside, he gets right down to “business”, then bounces around like a little jack rabbit. Since he’s such a youngster, he needs to be with someone who won’t leave him alone for long periods during the day. He needs to get out and burn off some of that energy! I love him and he's so close to me! I just don't know if I'm at the point where I can get another dog yet. :(

For some reason, this little guy is tugging on my heartstrings here, lol. He seems like a perfect fit and that he'd get along great w/ Jackson. I love his colorings. My problem right now is money though. I just don't think I could afford another dog quite yet. :( Sadly.

LOL. I know. It's not the food, it's the vet visits, etc. I mean, I could always bring the dog to the clinic near my house that does things cheaper! And they're trustworthy and all. But ahh. I'm in college (only two days a week) and I still live at home and I simply don't think I could convince the folks on another dog. lol. They're the kind of people... that if I just brought him home, they'd end up being fine with it. But it says all family members are required to visit with the dog first, etc. *sigh* And they already have their dog living here too. I don't think they could handle 3 =P

Huh, I wonder where I saw $250 to adopt?? I was on another page on that website where it said puppies $250 to adopt.

I have to think about this one!

Call! If I were in that area I would def. call, he looks like my male biewer. He needs a good mommy and it sounds like he's doing really well with housebreaking

Oh my gosh, am I going crazy?? lol. I swear I saw that. It was page that said puppies/dog 5 years or younger (something like that) - $250. Ah well. I think I may give the foster mommy an email just to ask some questions to start.
