KARENA is a 12 year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix that is a very pretty girl with a pointed nose and long silver hair. She weighs 6 pounds, and came into Animal Alliance foster care having lost all of her teeth. We can only assume that KARENA was fed a poor diet or one of people food in the past. Thus in her new home this little parcel will need to be fed high quality soft food. Other then this minor imperfection, this is one really eager to please little girl. She is affectionate and has bonded quite easily to her foster family. KARENA, is the kind of dog that one wants to spoil and protect. It is obvious that although her past owners did not give her the right food then did love her. We do not know why she ended up at the shelter. Perhaps she is another victim of the current economic situation which has led to many precious pets being abandoned. However, this girl is so easy to care for, not expensive to tend, and will be a loyal friend. She just wants to please, find a warm nesting place, and be adored. Looking for a diminutive darling? This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

NOTE: The adoption donation of $300 includes already completed spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming & monthly dose of heartworm, and flea/tick preventatives. The retail value of all of these services if performed at a private veterinarian is $600.
