Adult female Yorkie mix. $100 adoption fee. Available on 03/02/09. For information on adoption please call Paulding County Animal Shelter at 770-445-1511. All adopted pets will receive a Distemper shot and microchip. New owners are required to have their new pet spayed or neutered at the appropriate age, and a rabies shot.

It literally tears me apart. Especially a pic throught the bars. I pray pray pray that someone decent adopts that baby very soon.

Looks like one to me too! That poor baby :( I can see through the bar and tell that she is beautiful and needs a good bath and grooming. I wish Georgia was closer. Maybe we need another Yorkie Train? :eek:

OMG, those pics just broke my heart :(. That poor baby, she looks like she's been so neglected. Please someone nearby get her!

This just breaks my heart its only 15 minutes from me but i have been out of work a year and have no money to go get her.

I posted the link to our Biewer club forum...don't know if we have anyone in the area to help but we'll see what we can do.

If the $$ was provided to you, would you be able to get her out and keep her until a reputable rescue could take her? P.S. I'm sorry you have been out of work so long. The economy is so bad. My house went from full time to 25 hours a week (if I'm lucky). Elaine

That is a great idea! Do we know if they would even release to a rescue? I know how bad it is being out of work too. I've been looking for a job since July and have only had 1 interview :eek:

Oh my goodness what a beautiful Dog. I am also pretty close to this shelter however I cannot take her in short term (I live in a Condo Association and I am at the animal per household limit). I am willing to help any way I can, either with a donation to the person who will take her short term or if we need to get her somewhere I can drive from Georgia to a drop off place.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help, I will try my hardest to help this dog.

Yes i could take her if someone will help me out , to get her and i can take care of her until we can find her a good home,i have a groomer that would probally help donate having her groomed

Her adoption fee is $100.00 and i do know a rescue in anniston alabama that i got one of my yorkies at that i can contact if they have any availability and she wont be available until monday she is on petfinder and if they can't take her i can keep her until we can find her a good home,i love tring to help these little ones finding homes and when i was working i went on home visits for this rescue

The fee seems to be $100

That includes distemper and microchip. The spay and other stuff is owners responsibilty...at least that's what it says on the Petfindet Ad. Someone needs to call tommorrow and get the details.
