OMG he is SO cute! look at that furry little face. i'm sure he'll get a home in no time.

edit: just realized he's been there for a month now. I suspect that he hasn't been adopted yet because of the adoption fee. Personally if i were looking to adopt a yorkie i would not be spending this much money.

It seems that YTNR "sells" their fosters. Other Yorkies Rescues, such as UYR (United Yorkie Rescue) isn't out to make a killing on "selling", but to make sure the dogs get a good home.

It's funny that you posted about NikNak. I've been following him for several months. He looked so ratty when they got him and now he is so beautiful. I agree that he is priced too high and that's why I haven't adopted him. I understand that rescues are mostly run by donations, but it seems the younger and cuter the dog, the more expensive. If they want to find the animals a home I would think you would lower the price. That's just my opinion. I've seen so many that I would like to adopt but some sell for as much as you would pay to a breeder. :aimeeyork

Niknak really is a cutie! I hope he finds a home soon. I too had thought about applying for him but that adoption fee... I would never be able to justify such a high adoption fee to my parents. They want me to get a puppy as young as possible (12 weeks) if I'm to pay such a high price.

I agree, the price is too high, he is such a sweet yorkie though.
