Okla. Auction rescue? Does anyone know anything about the Oklahoma auction rescue in Stillwater? they have a yorkie up for adoption, and I have sent several e-mails but have not gotten a response. They don't list any contact numbers either. I would like to Give Valor (yorkie listed) a home, but I'm getting kinda frustrated. An help would welcome, thanks Joe. |
Welcome to YT! Where are you at in OK? Sorry I don't know anything about this organization, but I hope you can reach them about Valor soon. He's been a foster for a while now. Have you looked at OKYorkieRescue.com to see what they have? I got my little Biewer from them (Kelz) in November and they were great to work with. Good luck!! |
i don't really know anything about them either!! |
I left a note on your page confirming the info about OKYorkierescue.org......great group, they can help you adopt yorkies and they have great ones, also ARFTulsa.org can give you information. OKYorkierescue.org handles adoption of only yorkies and is a fabulous group.........check out their site. |
Arf Yes we applied with Okyorkie for a little one named Romeo. We have no response. I just saw him up for adoption with ARF now. We are applying again with ARF, but I'm kinda getting frustrated. Thanks for the info, I guess we'll drive on. |
You should follow through with your application with ARF. Romeo (Deacon) is a wonderful boy, very loving and will be a terrific pet for the right family. He had began to play here with the others, so I do believe he will come out of his shell very quickly. Also, he was doing very well with house training, after only a few days here. IDK too much about OK Auction Rescue, I've seen their listings before on Petfinder. Don't give up - and good luck!:) |
won't We won't give up. I just tried another e-mail addy for Ok auction rescue. Little Valor looks kinda scruff, Romeo is cute and will probaby be easy to get adopted. Valor has been up for awhile. Most people want a cute puppy, we just want to help a little yorkie that needs a good loving home. We are pursuing both adoptions. My wife is leaning towards Romeo, my heart feels for Valor. |

Both We made contact thru some back channels and met Valor. He was so cute but very attached to his foster Mom. He didn't like us very much so I guess he's just not for us. We are following thru with Romeo. We were set to met him Tuesday night but he is sick, so for now we are rescheduling. We don't want to put Brew at risk. |

Oh no, I hate to hear Romeo isn't well and hoping he is all better soon. You will just love Romeo, he's a very sweet boy, big enough to hug, but small enough for a lap dog - just perfect! |
Just wondering if there was an update on this. Did you adopt Romeo??? |
Romeo is Home! We met Romeo and we all hit it off great! He came home with us that very day. He is over his little poo problem has been to the vet and grommer. He is really bring Brewster (our puppy mill dog) out of his shell. I always thought Brew wanted to play, he just didn't know how. They both run and play. Brew got a little upset a couple of times he nipped Romeo in the tail, but they are both doing great. We are so happy with both of our pups!:D |
Yay for everyone! I love happy endings. I have a puppy mill baby and my little one, Misty (just under a year when we brought Ladybug home) was just what she needed to learn to play and venture out into the world. So glad to hear all is well. Thanks for the update. :yay_jump: |
Congratulations! I'm so glad to hear you found your new baby and Romeo found his forever home. Ahhh, happy endings!! :) |
