Yorkie for adoption New york (Really Cute!) 1 Attachment(s) "THis is NOT my dog" Reply to: comm-922885761@craigslist.org Date: 2008-11-17, 2:26PM EST We are looking to rehome our 4 yr old yorkie. There is no fee, I just want a loving home for Buddha. We have had him since he was 11 weeks old. I recently had a baby (who he is very good with) and frankly my husband and I both work and with the little time we have, we want to be with the baby. Unfortunately, Buddha has not gotten the attention that he needs and we feel that he might have a better life away from us. He spends the majority of his time in doggy daycare, which as nice as it is, is not home. He is ridiculously loyal and loving to his family. He will kiss you and cuddle with you. He loves to be outside and at the beach and will play fetch for hours! He can sit, give paw, lie down, stay etc...That said, Buddha is not a perfect dog. I do not want to mislead you. He is weary of stranger and will bark at them. He is not a barky dog, but will bark if a stranger enters the house. He would never bite anyone, but he will bark and rush strangers when they enter the house. The best fit would be a couple without kids who spends a lot of time at home. Ideally, a backyard would be nice. Please let me know if this interests you. Yorkie for adoption |

where in NY???? I'm looking to adopt a yorkie. =] |
It says manhattan. |
Free ~ I smell scam. Have you replied to it at all? It always worries me when there is a yorkie for "free" |
^I def. understand your concern, and I advise anyone interested to look into this and visit the home personally, but usually it's a scam if they're wanting to ship their dog to you or it involves money exchanging in some way, where this doesn't sound like the person's intention. also, it was posted in the New York area of Craigslist, which I'm guessing means she doesn't really want to ship him, in which case it would be hard for her to pull off a scam. But I totally see your concern and like I said before anyone who wants to look into this should proceed with caution, same as when you're adopting any other pet. :) He is such a cutie! |
