Adopt a Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie: Marcus: Petfinder

Marcus came to us a total mess, result of a neglectful owner. He had scabs on every inch of his body (I am not exaggerating) some open and seeping. His once beautiful coat was badly matted and toenails long and curling into his pads. We suspect he had sarcoptic mange and he was treated for that as well as a secondary skin infection. He is healing well and his coat will be long and beautiful again. Marcus is 2 years old and weights just 6.9 lbs. Marcus is looking for a home that will take good care of him and pay plenty attention to him. He likes to be by my side at every opportunity and he will bark if crated or put in another room. He likes to sleep on the bed and will often crawl under the covers. He is crate trained but is brushing up on his housebreaking skills. He does not like to go outside unless someone is with him. Marcus was not well treated in his former home so tends to be a little clingy but he is a sweet boy that will give some lucky person all his love and devotion.To apply for Marcus, please use our adoption application, located on our Petfinder homepage.
