I never get real concerned with anything I see on Craigslist to do with Yorkies..In most cases, the OP does not have the common sense to go and delete the posting once the Yorkie is rehomed or sold or whatever. Scamsters also use a Yorkie story and picture to scam people. Alot of people will post that they have a Yorkie mix when it is really a German Shepard. They know a Yorkie mention stirs up people......others like nothing better than to stir you. |
I hate reading stuff like that why do people even get animals if they are not going to treat them right! Take some freaking allergy medicine I do it everyday rather than get rid of my kittys. Animals are not disposable. |
That is so...sad to give a dog up because of allergies and.....to put him outside when he's not use to that. :( I'm guessing he's still available cause I could bring up all the info and his pic up when I clicked on the link. It said where he cough's when he's on a leash cause he pulls. Probably cause they hook the leash to his collar. :rolleyes: I hope this cutie finds a good home soon. |
I don't know why the ads getting so much slack because of the allergies, I have allergies and I know how horrid it is whenever you're around an animal that bothers them non-stop. With that being said, I wouldn't put an animal - especially one so small outside, I'd keep him inside confined to a room without carpet until I was able to re-home him. Anyway, besides that, I don't see how they would just all of a sudden "develop" allergies around him after having him for 7 years, doesn't make sense to me. "He pulls on a leash and will make himself cough", what an idiot, they make harnesses for a damn reason. I'd say someone has already gotten him and they just haven't taken the ad down, most people would flop seeing a Yorkie/Yorkie-mix for a small fee of $25. |

Please Some One Help This Boy I contacted her and she wants me to call her,is there anyone in tenn,that wants him,i have two males so this wont work for me,this baby needs a home,please someone help him he is so cute and deserves a second chance |
Oh for god's sake - OUTSIDE ? and no one wants him ?? Tell that woman to give him to RESCUE AND NOT THE SHELTER ! Unless it's a no kill shelter and maybe he will get a chance at a nice life - he sure does need a new home that poor boy - all alone outside ....:( |
I don't believe in the Yorkie agressive behaviors . Most peoples make stories just to get rid of older Yorkies . The other day , my friend found a 11 years old Yorkie in a box near her fence. She made research and found the previous owners . They told her that the Yorkies was aggressive . Guess what ? This yorkie is the most adorable little one that my friend have owned . Lilly went to the park with my friend and she started to play with the other little ones , no aggression . Most of the time , peoples don't want to take care of an older dog . |

This boy is living outside!!! I do not know if we can find a foster home for him in our group, but I can contact other rescues if he is not close to us. Hopefully, we can get him some help. Someone please let me know. Thanks L |

Amanda - Are you in the area of where this guy is? If so, maybe you can go to her house and 'evaluate' him to see if he really is agressive like she says??? He may be sweet as pie, ppl are funny - who knows what the real deal is? Someone has to save him, this is sad :( |
This boy is living outside!!! If someone can get all the details and send it to me privately, I will email it to all of my contacts. Make sure she wants to surrender to rescue. Another thing she could do, is complete an owner surrender form on our website: Yorkie Haven Rescue OR United Yorkie Rescue They do have TN members from what I understand. |
I am sure she would surrender to a rescue if there was one that would take him but because she said he is aggressive to other males, they will not take him..I was going to get him, but she would not let me have him because of me having males. I think if she were a liar, she would have let me come and get him and figure out for myself that he does not like males.. I am going to Gatlinburg in 2 hours and will be back on Monday.. If someone gets ahold of her and asks her to hold on to him until I get back, I can go evaluate him...I wish I could do more but I also thought she had found a home for him and now it may be to late, she may have taken him to a shelter...:( |

Well just maybe he is aggressive to the ones he has been living with because of the living conditions. Wonder just how he has been treated the past 7 years if they can just throw him out in the backyard and not care. People are horrible. |

Yorkie in trouble I too feel so sorry for the poor guy. I've been searching for a female for along time to rescue. Was one at animal control this week but too late for me to rescue. If anyone knows of one in Mo. let me know. People can be so cruel sometimes. |
