I am looking to rehome a 2 year old Male not fixed Yorkshire Terrier. Full blooded have papers to have him registered just never got around to doing it. Can still be register for a small fee to AKC. My mom has fallen very ill and is looking @ having to go into a nursing home. He is kind of potty pad trained but due to her being in the hospital so much needs someone to potty train him again. He is very high tempered and feels he is my moms master. He needs someone who is very patient and is able to train him. He really loves kids but doesn't really like other dogs very well and HATES cats. He has been raised on Canidae food that is purchased @ Pet Land. He really is a beautiful dog and is hypoallergenic.We purchased him from a breeder for a pretty penny! He is about 4 lbs. I realize that my email box is not going to be overflowing with people wanting him but urge anyone who feels they can handle training a dog that is a bit stuck in his ways, but very much worth the effort to contact me. He really is a lovable wonderful little guy that with the right owner and training will be an outstanding pet! Please only inquire if you are serious and willing and able. My mom is in desperate need. I am asking a rehoming fee just to make sure he will go to someone capable of taking care of him.

Long story short, I found this dog on my way to church running down the road. His hair was so matted, I had to completely shave him. After shaving him, I felt that he had a microchip. He was taken to the vet and the chip was read, he is AKC registered. The vet was able to find out he was sold at a petland in march of 2007, and I was provided with the buyers info. She has not attempted to call me back after my numerous attempts to make contact. The dog was found 30 miles from where the owners address was, I am guessing he was dropped off. He is nice, and seems to get along fine with my dogs and cats. His hair is growing back now and I have given up on his owner ever calling. If you would like to take him to your vet and have the chip checked, or have him checked out before taking him, that is fine with me.

My sister in law is moving into a new apartment and cannot keep the two year old chihuahua she has. he is a very good dog, great with children and excellent at watching the door. i think he is ready for a perminant home. We are asking a $100 dollar rehoming fee but offers will be taken into consideration. He will only be available until the 26th of august.

Call me crazy :rolleyes: but doesn't that look like the same dog on Craigslist last week. It was a young girl holding a yorkie who was coming to the Chicago area to visit and want to bring the dog along for adoption? Does anyone remember this?

I don't understand why they would need a rehoming fee if they FOUND the dog? It doesn't say "small rehoming fee" or anything like if she took him to the vet and had to pay a small price for the vet visit. Why would this be, any idea? Just generally wondering if anyone has any idea. :confused:

Honestly, the BEST thing to do for a Pet in a rehome situation is too ask a Rehome Fee - as this will weed out BAD ppl wanting a free dog :thumbup:

well alot of people ask for a small rehomeing fee to make sure the person really wants the dog like TLC said

Plus on craigs list they seem to flag the ones that say for free and the ones that ask a $ big price.
