Shrimpy in Conneticut
 
Hey guys...
I just got off the phone with a lady that lives in Conneticut. She has a 9 yo male named Shrimpy that was her aunt's, until she passed away. Now she has him & does not have the time to care for him the way he should be. She just isnt home very long at a time & knows he needs someone home longer than what she can do.
Anyways... she says he is healthy aside of an intestinal problem but just eats a specail diet of r/d I think she said. I told her I would post & check for Conneticut people who might be interested AND most importantly she wants him to have a happy/loving home.
She is leaving for vacation for a week & wont be able to be reached until after July 7th. Her name is Sandy. Her home phone is 203-377-3798. I do not have a picture.. you would have to ask her for one... I am just relaying a message.

awwwww...poor baby losing his mom - With a name like Shrimpy I hope he gets snatched up fast - that's really cute ...how good of the woman to try to find him a great home - good luck to you Shrimpy !!

I just got a call from Sandy... she is back from vacation & wondered if anyone will be able to help her by adopting (free of charge) or fostering Shrimpy. If there is anyone in the Conneticut area ... she is needing help. I hate to see this baby end up in shelter.

Kelly got on this evening & was looking for one up near her. I dont know if she came across that one or not. I will find out & if not I will have her contact them. We are gonna try to find her a rescue closer than us.

i sent an email to save a yorkie and got and auto response saying they were on Vacation.. I just Emailed yorkies Inc. They are Closer! Maybe they can help her.

I sure hope he finds a good home. I'm sure he is upset about loosing his owner and now to be in another home and not wanted there that has to be emotional on him.

I just wanted to update that we arranged with Marilyn of Save a Yorkie Rescue arranged for Shrimpy's pick up. Shrimpy is now in the hands of Save a Yorkie Rescue.
