Ok
I can name a few reasons why I have not called animal control,,,
1-Thought Vegasrush might take her
2- I have no I dea where she lives I only have a phone number that she does not answer
3- I was not sure she was even chained for sure or without food or water
4- Her town is not a no kill shelter.. 3 days and theya re put to sleep.
5-SIL is not even sure of the address. Has never had an address just had her lead her to her home to see her new home. she just got married
I am not even sure what to do now. I really though I was being helpful and now it looks like she may be put in a shelter or put to sleep :-(
This is the very first time I have ever even seen her . I dont know anything about the lady who has her and jsut am going by sil who does not even live near her she lives 2 states away but passed through going back home from Idaho , didnt have an address so stopped in her town called her and her husband led her to their new house. I am not super sure what exact town she lives in only an area

Well my offer still stands to bring her into my home and foster her as long as I need to. I have no problem doing that what so ever. So if no one wants to adopt her just yet then I can bring her here to my house until someone does want her to get her out of the heat and give her some love, a bath and some pampering!

OMG, this is a real dilemma. I'm sending you our best wishes for inspriation and perfect grace to save this poor little puppy. Very sad indeed.

I want to apologize to everyone here. My hubby and I have been fighting about this poor dog all day and he doesn't justify the $ when I can save a dog much closer. I know I got ahead of myself without knowing and Bonnie has been the best throughout this whole ordeal. She is only trying to do the right thing and I think she is a GREAT PERSON. I feel like I have let everyone down and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. PLEASE GOD LET THIS BABY GET A GOOD HOME!! I am sorry, but I don't think it will work out for us to take her.

Can you pay her fee of $300 or $200 to save her :( And then try to adopt her out after your rescue her and clean her up, etc....

I would if I could afford it myself.. If she would even let me . She wont even talk to me answer my calls or otherwise anymore.
We are leaving town tomorrow :-( I hope someone locally decides she needs somthing better

Is there a rescue group in the area that can pay the money to take her. I would donate money to help get her out of there if the money is all this person cares about? Love4Bella is kind enough to offer to foster her. If Bonmur is the only one who knows her phone number and is leaving town she may not get any help at all.

BUMPING THIS UP... someone has to rescue this POOR baby. If I was close I would soo go and get her.

Also who cares if she's purebred or not she's ADORABLE and looks SOOOOO hot out in that 100 degree heat :( :( :( At least she has a little bit of shade. Please someone go and get her :cry2:

Hi Vegas. Your heart was in the right place. You tried to do what you could for her. It is not worth a broken home or a lot of fighting in your home ... no matter how cute she is. Like everyone else, I want her out of there as soon as possible. That lady doesn't deserve an animal. And you may be able to rescue one that is closer to where you live.

Is there any way someone could call animal control for that area and tell them that if she is picked up or turned in, there is someone to foster her? Just a thought.

It brought tears to my eyes to see that little girl CHAINED in the heat. Why would anyone do that to a little dog like that? Why would anyone get a dog and then leave it outside? I would be ashamed if I knew people knew I did this to my dog.

I am praying she finds a home. I would love to go snatch her up...if only I was in UTAH!

Well.. I am in contact with my SIL we are getting ready to leave as soon as hubby gets home but will stay in touch through my laptop. My sil is going to try and get her to surrender her to me or someone and show her pic of an actual yorkie ( It would not matter to me at all what she was she is cute and it is sad her condition) But the owner thinks because hse has papers for her and she paid 1200 for her that she is most definately going to get some money out of her. Very very greedy.
I am sick and sad over this. My husband would kill me if I bought even one more dog right now but if I can just get her to surrender it maybe I can get her a good home . We are full up here and feel it would not be fair to my other dogs.

I'm so thankful and glad you're going to try to do this. I hope she just surrenders her to you. I don't see how she could be "comfortable" (to put it nicely) knowing that her dog is out in the heat chained. . .
