6 week old Yorkie needs a home! Blind Yorkshire Terrier puppy As you all know, I am an animal lover… A friend recently let me know about a small Yorkie that was born with no eyes. He was subsequently abandoned at a Vet’s office and has now been sent to a wonderful organization called "Yorkshire Terrier Rescue" . He is 6 weeks old now and is looking for a caring family or individual to adopt him… Please see the photos below. Here is their website: YTCLA Yorkshire Terrier Club of Los Angeles Rescue I’m writing to ask that you please let everyone know about this organization and this puppy. Everyone who works with this organization is a volunteer. Please feel free to contact them about this special little puppy... He is located in California but the new parents can be from anywhere. They'll have to be interviewed by the organization naturally to make sure they are a good fit. This is one of those times where I'm truly hoping that the right person will swoop in and be a guardian angel for this guy. It's my understanding that other than being blind he is otherwise healthy. He'd be a great dog to take to schools and hospitals to show children or adults with disabilities how to overcome adversity. Please tell anyone you know who you think could be a great parent about him... Lastly, there is an adoption fee for this puppy and I will personally cover that cost. Best, Dr. WILL Here are the pics of this adorable puppy: http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...ndPuppy1-1.jpg http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...BlindPuppy.jpg http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...1/Blind2-1.jpg |
I hope someone can take him. My breeder told me of a puppy that was born with no eyes and the couple that adopted him said he did fine and lived to be 14 years old. |
He is just precious... that last pic of him melts my heart.... he is REALLY a pretty boy!! I cant imagine how scary it must be for him. Sweet angel. |
I would love to take him! Poor baby. I bet he is a snuggly one too! I hope some one local will be able to take him so that he doesn't have to get in a plane..that would have to be scary not being able to see...then again, I guess he doesn't know any different. |
Is there any other web link provided for them?? My husband and I both have tried to contact this agency after reading this post. Neither of us were able to send emails to the address listed. Do you know if there is any other we could try or possibly a number? Thanks, Aimee |
