300 Yorkies Rescued Free. Hi guys. I belong to puppymill rescue yahoo group and this was posted a few days ago. Tonight is the first night I've been on - been fighting a stomach flu. Anyway, a puppy mill has been busted and supposedly they have 300 yorkies up for adoption free. They also have other full breed dogs up for adoption as well. I believe they are located in Lancaster, CA. I'm enclosing the link below for anyone that may be intersted. I pray these babie end up in a good loving home and not back in a bad situation. aww look at the poor babies. i hope they find good homes :( |
Aww, sweet babies. Looks like some have been adopted which is good news! |
Awww I hope they find good homes to go to. |
OMG, 300 that is just horrible, sick ...they just isn't a word to give that could convey this situation. Those poor babies, I hope most get good homes but at the rate people are turning in dogs to rescue because of the loss of their home 300 seems almost impossible. Maybe if anyone knows someone in California that could get the word out. It probably has been in the local paper but other areas may not know. Thanks for posting it here, this forum reaches alot of people that seem to be able to work wonders. |

how incredibly sad - I had read the story when the puppymill was shut down a few weeks ago. These faces are just beyond sad - the eyes are just so empty - it makes my heartbreadk |
Oh my those poor babies. I looked through about 20 pics and had to close it. I have tears streaming. That just makes me so mad. How can people be so cruel? PT to all the babies that they get good loving homes. |
I contacted the shelter a week ago and they said they were all gone. |

Maybe a yorkie rescue got them? |
YAY for CA busting that mill ! hundreds more to go :( but.... everytime I see this I'm just SO happy for all those poor dogs ....I hope they find wonderful homes and live the way they are susposed to live....NOT bred over and over living in tiny cages....it's just the cruelest thing to do to 'mans' best friend AND I hope whoever was running that mill is in JAIL ...or at the least - NOT EVER ALLOWED TO HAVE ANOTHER ANIMAL TO ABUSE |

:( Oh my God those poor babies. I am so glad they have been rescued. I looked at several and they were females. I know that were using them just to breed, but I didn't even see a male. I just hate seeing animals like that. I'm like others on here, and I hope the person, or people in charge of these babies are locked up! All these puppy mills have got to stop. Hopefully now they can find a good forever home. |
Alot of these dogs are older....like 4 - 10 years old. It's hard to find homes for puppy mill dogs that have been unsocialized for so long. I suspect that if they are listed as "adopted", then they must have been "adopted" by a rescue. I can't see them being able to find individual homes for all those dogs so quickly...or being able to process adoption applications so thoroughly in such a short time unless they went to a rescue organization. |
A friend of mine grooms and boards, she just boarded a female from this rescue. Her name was Lily and she was just adorable. Im guessing she was 3 or 4 years. Has a wonderful home now. She will never want for anything. |
