FLORIDA - 26 need homes - Breeder Deceased!!!
 

Someone sent this to me, how awful:

To all my friends,
26 Yorkies (some puppies, some adults) have been taken
into Skylake Animal Hospital this week (305-931-2113)
due to the breeder being found deceased. The vet is
looking for a good home for the dogs. If u or anyone
you know if interested, please pass on this e-mail.

How sad. Are these Parquin's yorkies? Such a sad end to a wonderful man and a loving breeder of quality yorkies.

Is the breeder Parquins?
I thought his family and friends were keeping the dogs. I guess they couldn't handle that many.
Whoever gets one of them is going to have a beautiful yorkie. It is so sad and tragic that this has happened.:(

WOW from another list I am on, I was under the impression that a Yorkie group did step in for these dogs?
If I hear anything I will let you know

The Central Florida Yorkshire Terrier Club, Inc. wants to thank everyone for their kind inquiries to the Parquin Yorkies. It is a terrible tradgety what has befallen these dogs and we are very grateful to see the kind words being posted. However, it has come to our attention that some rumors of certain happenings are circulating and we want to be very clear where the CFYTC stands.


Our Rescue is currently fostering several of the older dogs on behalf of the family until they are able to chose their prefered course of action. These dogs are NOT available for adoption at the current time. Under Florida law, property may not be placed, sold, altered, or given away without consensus of the court. This includes the dogs as they are viewed as "real property". The circumstances surrounding the estate furthur complicate the issues at hand.
Any dogs removed from the care of the estate maybe reclaimed by the estate and the court system. The CFYTC or its Rescue is not affiliated or in any way tied to any dogs that may have been removed from the estate. The dogs in our possession are being cared for in foster homes and are doing well. We are humbled and honored to help in any small way that we can.

The CFYTC web managers would appreciate this being cross posted to settle the availability inquiries of the dogs. We are a small club and only have so many fingers to reply with. :-)

oops i didnt read this part.Guess i wont be contacting them after all.Maybe in the future they will find loving homes for these babies.

How heart breaking. Raymond had been sharing with me how to start showing and I was buying one of his wonderful Yorkies.
I just could not believe it when I got the news on Easter Sunday from a friend of Raymond's and mine.

I am still going to buy one of his puppies.

I had a will made out for my pets so when I die they will go to family and friends. We all should have a will made out so the courts do not have he say with anything of ours.
If there are any of you that knew raymond and would like to help me with pointers I would be very thankful

I just filled out an adoption application on http://www.cfytc.org/Rescue. I would love to have another yorkie!! Its so sad that this breeder died.

OH I AM IN SC BUT IF THEY ARENT TOO EXPENSIVE BELIEVE ME ID PAY ALOT IF I HAD IT..BUT I JUST MOVED..HOWEVER I WOULD TRAVEL TO FLORIDA IF THE PUPPIES ARENT TOO MUCH

Raymond was a friend of mine. I am heart broken by his death. But on a lighter note I am getting my new Parquin puppy on tuesday. I am so excited. I will be showing him in honor of Raymond .
I am looking to buy one more of his wonderful Yorkies. If anyone know of a breeder with one of his Yorkies available please let me know.

Yes Raymond had been sharing with me about showing and I was going to buy one of his puppies before his death. He was amazing!
I am very heartbroken over his death. It is a great loss to our world.
I hope to show some day soon in his honor good Lord willing.

I live in FL and my heart goes out to the family and all these wonderful dogs and puppies. :( I went to the website listed in one of the post and submitted my adoption applications. I should hear back shortly.

Hi, I would love to take in a puppy

I would take the oldest adult/senior he had if they need support.

Please remember, all of the dogs will need a home not just the puppies.

Has anyone heard anything else about the rescues.I also filled out an application but I havent heard anything yet. Im not sure that I will because the application doesnt let you inquire about specific rescued dogs.

Somewhere on here...there's an update to this story and none of Raymond's dogs are being adopted out.

I would also take an adult or senior dog. But I guess they are not being adopted out.
