DESPERATE!! Very Small PJ's For Sick Pup Hi guys. My new rescue is only 1 lb. 9 oz. and she's got very thin hair and very cold all the time. I tried Tia's PJ's on her, they are size small but they swim on her. Tia is 4 lbs. Does anyone have any (probably) xx small pajamas that would fit a 1.9 lb. dog or know where I can get them? Thanks in advance. I need them desperately and would like to be able to get them right away. I'll Pay Pal you immediately and will pay for two day priority shipping. I just want to keep her warm as she needs a lot of TLC. She's lost weight, and is fighting Giardia. Thanks again. Elaine. (I have an 11 am vet appt. so if I don't get right back to you - I'll check my posts and PM as soon as I get in) |
I have a couple pair of pj's that I got for maggie when she was a baby and they were too small for her. they would probably fit your baby. I would sell them for $10 each plus shipping. If you are interested at all, I will take some pics for you to see. they are very cute and very warm. I am kinda sad that maggie never fit them :) Quote:

You can always make her a sock sweater, just cut the holes for the front feet and neck.Check out breny's thread about brooklyn,it looks like she made him one out of an argle sock. I will go find the thread and come post it here.http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94747 |
I agree, go for a cozy sock for now. I think passionfrution also posted a thread about sock outfits with directions. Also ask Shana at Tinkerbellscloset.com, she custom makes adorable pj's. |

Great link Jodie. This will help keep her new baby warm until she can find some Jammies. |
I have some extra small ones I can send you (gift). They might be too big, but hey, maybe she will need them soon. Just PM me with your mailing address and I'll drop them in the mail this afternoon. Do you have enough blankets? |
How nice of you to offer them to her. I think the sock will work out in the mean time. |
I have a pair of x-s pj's that are like a "blanket sleeper" with all 4 legs in them and the velcroe closure on the back so they are easy to get on and off. I would be happy to send them priority mail if you send me your address. Sonya PS they are yellow with baby blue trim and flowers and butterflies on them.. very cute |
So nice of Sonya and Judy to offer.........that gives me warm fuzzies!! Don't forget to check out go.fetch too! Des has some great ones that fit little bitties! Also, hobby stores (like Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc) and even Build-A-Bear stores have the little bitty clothes too (not just for the bigger bears) - you might check there - they are normally pretty cheap $3-15 dollars for clothing and the smaller ones are cheaper. Good luck and keep that girl warm! (((HUGS))) :justahug: |

Also, GoFetch has the T1 pjs with velcro closures on sale for $6. I love the pjs we bought from her. Just FYI. I have no idea about shipping though. |

I don't see why they couldnt be layered. The ones I have are a fleece material, kind of like polar fleece. I hope I hear from her soon so I can get them in todays mail. Sonya |

Our post office is closed, but I can get it out first thing in the am (or my hubby can :) ). What would be the most reasonable way to get it to her fast? |

Ours is closed now too. The quickest way would be in one of the priority mail flat rate envelope that will get there in 1-2 days now for just $4.60 I would have just sent it today if I had her address. I am not worried about the postage. |
Thank You All. Hi Guys. Just wanted to update. First, thank you all so much, especially Sonya (Sunnie) and Judy from Waco. You were so wonderful to offer to send pjs. and I sent you both a private PM. I'm sorry, it has taken me so long to check back on this post. My mom is dying and I spend most of day with her, and I did not get back online until late tonight. I found Pjs. at my local pet store. I've been shopping there for years and never knew they even carried them. Anyway, I got their only pair of xxs. and so now the baby is warm. I also love the sock idea so thank you Shadow:) What a great idea. an update on my little girl; I took her to the vet this morning and she's actually very healthy. Thank God. Her hair is thin due to an old flea infestation (This is what my vet feels anyway). He said her hair will start to come back in once she gets some good nutrition. The weighloss we thought she must have been a misreading because today she weighs in at 2 lbs. 3 oz instead of the 1.9 the rescue was told on 9/15. And, I'm thankful for that as well because the first thing that came to mind was liver shunt. We thought of a name for her. We decided on Lilly. My mom actually gave this name to her. I had taken her to see my mom and she looked at her and said "She looks like a Lilly." So Lilly it is. I posted some pictures in the Yorkie Picture section and will keep everyone posted. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the friendship shown to me and my Lilly. It was greatly appreciated. Elaine |
I am so glad that she's doing better than you thought! Yay Lilly!! :D I saw her pics....what a cutie pie! |
I have a pair of pjs that im selling that are tiny, they should fit her. They are too small for London. |
I have heard "it takes a village" and this thread provided a positive image. Elaine, I am so glad the Lilly's weight is an excellent benchmark for her future growth. Her coat will regrow and don't know if it is true or not, but my vet said their coat regrows in the fall. Charlie's has improved in such a short time - April to now. Take care and remember "inhale - exhale". Warmly, Deborah |
