Little Bit | 09-16-2007 10:55 AM | 1 Attachment(s) I had a similar thing for a dachshund I had. It is nice to keep them tethered in the car. I have one concern about it, though. If your dog is a chewer they can go through it really quick! My dachshund chewed through hers the first time we used it!! But I found a very good and inexpensive substitute.
Get a a belay clip Attachment 149202(the kind rock cliimbers use that are shaped like a C with the other side that pushes in and out to attach to things) that is so popular now. Get a strong one. Then with the choke chain make the loop like you would to put it on a dog's neck only put the seatbelt through it and buckle the seatbelt. Then run the clip through the other end of the choke chain and clip it to your dogs harness. You now have a chew proof tether, unless your dog is a VERY strong chewer and chews through the seat belt! |
