Looking for retired Buddy Belts!

I'm looking for Buddy Belts in Brushed Steel and Fairy Dust in a size 3. Unfortunately, I missed the boat on these releases and have been searching the net in the hopes of finding them, but have had zero luck. Does anyone know of a shop that has either??

Thanks! Unfortunately, I'm not too fond of the Platinum. I really like the metallic shininess of the Brushed Steel. I know my chances of finding one are slim, but I'm not giving up hope yet!

Buddy Belt is out of these retired colors in Size 3, and I can't find another store that has them.

Platinum is beautiful, although not quite as shiny silver. A YT member, Galen recently bought it.

Hi Kristin! Thank you for the BB info and suggestions. Although I'm not new to BB's, I've recently become obsessed with them, ha. For some reason I never bothered to check out their website and when I finally did a few weeks ago, I was shocked to find they came in so many different colors and finishes! I always just purchased mine in-store (Muttropolis) and the variety is never that large. Of course I'm now kicking myself for not becoming obsessed sooner as it seems I missed out on a lot of cute harnesses! >_<

I already like BB on FB, but will go ahead and like your page as well. : )

Many of the colors are "retired", meaning Buddy Belt doesn't produce them anymore, but they (and retailers) have select sizes left. Only the Classic Colors collection stays the same. The others can end at any time.

Leave it to me to fall in love with the retired colors, haha. I just discovered Brushed Steel and Sterling are different and now prefer Sterling, but that does me no good considering it's retired too! .. haha. I need to just accept the fact I missed them and move on. Oh but how gorgeous Sophie would look in a Sterling BB. *dramatic sigh*

I know. Me too. I wish they would bring back some of the old colors.

It happened to me too! I really wanted a blue BB that was retired. It was the perfect shade of Dodger blue!!!! I got my wish as a friend found it for me. I have no idea how. It is now my go to bb!!!

Ahhh, you lucked out! Congrats! I'm still holding out hope I'll come across one. Just trying not to be obsessive about it, ha. The Venom snake BB I ordered for my Sophie arrived today and it's beautiful, so that helped. It's so soft and flexible; not stiff at all. I look so forward to putting it on her soon!

I have been wanting to try one of these but can't decide what color I like! I guess it's better than falling in love with a retired color but loving them all is frustrating too lol.

True, haha. There are so many pretty colors and designs that it really is hard to choose just one. But I'd definitely make the jump and buy your first BB. They really are fantastic durable harnesses. My Sophie loves hers!

Here is a side view. Actually in the pictures I have the Buddy Belt loose so that it shows up. Sorry the pictures are not better but all he wanted was to give me his face ! Where is that when I need to take pictures of say . . . HIS FACE ! He is too much.

The only difference between the two I think is that the platinum is a little darker. But it has the same finish I think.

The platinum is really pretty. It's such a great color to go with Yorkie/Biewer coloring and it is so neutral with clothing. Katie has several Buddy Belts, but some are a bit tight for her. I absolutely love Viper, Candy Apple Red, and Cocoa on Katie, but I also love her Knight Buddy Belt. It's such a versatile color, particularly with the deep blue coloring of a Yorkie. It is soft, has a little metallic sheen, and it is perfect with a lot of Katie's sweaters and jackets. I think the platinum would be just as versatile.

Haha, isn't that just how it goes? Thank you so much for taking the pics! I sure appreciate it. Hmm, it really is a nice color. Actually, I discovered Sterling (which is retired, OF COURSE) the day AFTER I made this post and prefer it more than Brushed Steel now. I searched high and low for it to no avail. It's the shiniest of the three silvers and that shininess is what I LOVE about it. However, I'm going to stop obsessing and hope that someone on here eventually sells a Sterling BB in a size 3, haha. It's the only hope I have!

Btw, is Galen a parti Yorkie? His coloring is beautiful! I need to search his pics out. : )

For those who like the retired Blue Leopard BB's and missed out on them, I came across a Canadian boutique that has a few sizes left! I lucked out and got the last size 3, yay! Was so excited to see they had the Sterling too, but no - out of stock. >_< Still searching!
