Wanted: used Lrg. carseat
 
Hey y'all, I'm looking for a large carseat, Snoozer or Pet Gear brand preferred but not necessary...as long as it is secure and has 2 harness tethers.

I already own a small snoozer but as I'm adding a second pup I thought I'd ask if anyone was selling a used large carseat before I bought one new...they are a bit pricey!! :p

After spending the day with two tethered to the seatbelt in the backseat (complaining that they couldnt see out the window),I realized that I will probably need to get either a large snoozer or another small one. I just havent decided. Skittles and Mina arent really into being that close unless they are playing tug of war with Skittles favorite toy. HMMMM more thinking to do.

I was looking at either Cheetah, hot pink, baby pink, or just the black, but it's not a dealbreaker.

How big are they? Depending on their size, a big one may work. If not, it may be better to just get another small one. Then everyone's happy. :)

Is medium the regular size? I only saw small and large...didn't know there was a medium lol.
Would two 6 lb dogs fit in a medium?

sorry guys i just tried it out and it says you can't use it on carseats :( I'll keep looking and let you know if i see anything

I have the Snoozer Luxury Lookout II, in a medium and it's definitely large enough for two small dogs, even if they are laying down. It's huge for Katie, but I got it so that I could use it for more than one pup in the future.

but the medium only has one strap right? The large is the one with two straps? I need two straps....three dogs, so one small and one large...:rolleyes:

The medium comes with one strap, but I'm not sure that I love it. I have considered getting a different strap that I know has been crash tested. I'm not sure if its overkill, but I am considering getting a separate seatbelt adapter to be used with it. I use a Buddy Belt with Katie, but I have considered using the PawRider seatbelt adapter to use along with the Snoozer.

I have three of the medium seats for my pups. They take up all of the back seat, but each dog has their own space and safety strap. Works great for us. I did shorten the straps so the dogs can still stand up to look out the windows but can't get out of the seat.

We have 1 of the luxury lookout II's and one of the small luxury seats. The boys are in the bigger one and do fine. Of course, "princess" Shelby gets one of her own. (The boys like to snuggle & she likes her space) It works well for us... But we do like the drawer in it to hold a collapsible bowl, pick up bags, & hand towel ( for muddy feet if we make a pee pee stop). It is really handy.
