Looking for Step-In Harnesses Does anyone know of any websites that sell custom-made step-in harnesses? The girls have outgrown the ones that they have. |
We only use leather step in Choke~Free harnesses. They were designed by someone who worked for NASA in Merritt Island Florida. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...harnesses.html |
Check out Buddy Belt. Pricey, but really nice quality, should last the lifetime of a dog. Puppia makes step-ins as well. ChattiesMom here on YT makes custom silk step-ins... The leather Choke-Free is also a nice one. |
We're fans of chattiesmom's step-in harnesses, but unfortunately she currently isn't making any. I've seen the Choke-Free harnesses before, but always overlooked it because they look uncomfortable to me. However, many people seem to be happy with it, so I might try it out. I really like the Buddy Belt, but they are super pricey. For my bigger dog alone, the price is $80:eek: Does anyone know a website where I can purchase the Choke-Free or Buddy Belt at a good price? Or if any YT vendors sell them? |
Yeah, tell me about it  Jackson's was also $80, being 16lbs and all. But I really do love it. I don't use it 100% of the time, I like having different options. The Puppia is still my go-to harness if I know he's going to likely be wearing a harness for the better part of the day. It just is the most comfortable (I think) and he doesn't mind it. He doesn't seem to mind the Buddy Belt, either, but I would definitely think it's not as comfy. So we use the BB for daily walks and things of the sort. I have a Choke-Free harness for sale right now, it's a size 19, which fits Jackson who is 16lbs and has about a 17.5" girth. It's really nice but since I have the Buddy Belt too, there is no need to have both. I am selling it for $25 on ebay (I bought it for over $40). He only wore it about three or four times. Those who know me, know that I have a collar/harness obsession and often buy unnecessary items  If you are interested, let me know! The Choke Free is less bulky than the Buddy Belt, IMO, and it's a thinner leather but still good quality. But seems pretty comfortable. Oh yeah, I do have a black silk harness from chattiesmom as well. |
Ultra Easy ChokeFree & PawRider Pet Seatbelt Adapter (USA) should get you to the website. I take the harnesses off the gang overnight. |
