The Great Debate - Alex or Alexa So, now that I finally got a payout from my insurance company it is time to replace the stolen Alex bag I had. But I keep going back and forth between Alex or Alexa :rolleyes: I'm pretty sure I'll go for a black bag this time, I loved the brown, but black will match more of my outfits :cool: I have experience with the Alex and I loved it, I regret that I didn't have more time with it, as Rizzo was starting to love going on trips in it as well... What I would like is to see more pictures of the Alexa, so I can compare them better...does anyone have the Alexa and what all you can fit into the pocket? Since I'll be using this on flights I'll need to fit at a minimum a passport, small wallet, iPhone, and doggie treats (small bag). I would also like to fit my Kindle in there, but I know it's unlikely with either of the bags for that, but maybe Rizzo will scoot over and let me slide it in there with him (I have a cover for it) So, pictures and input is appreciated :D |
There is NO debate- the ALEX all the way :) You likely won't fit all that stuff in either bag- I considered slipping my ipad w/ cover into the bag with Chloe but was nervous that she might chew on it if she got upset so i skipped that, I just brought along my purse and threw it in there. Since my purse and the Alex both fit under the seat in front of me, no one cared that I had both. I like that the Alex has the fold down flaps- I think it makes mine feel more secure at times if they are totally enclosed. Although, I did keep the flaps up for much of the trip. I was able to keep two wee wee pads, a small bag of food, some treats, rescue remedy, and a leash in the pockets. I still had one extra pocket. |

I've had both, and while I like the looks of my Alexa better, the Alex was much better for stowing extra things. In fact, I never used my Alexa. convenience won over bling everytime. |
I have both and prefer the Alex :) |

Thanks all! I did love my Alex, good to know that it'll be better for my traveling needs...but now that I know a pink version exists, I guess I'll have to impatiently wait for it to come out :) |
