Kwigy-Bo Question 2 Attachment(s) Hello all! I have finally decided to join the Kwigy-Bo bandwagon. But I have a slight issue...I am terrible with guestimating (yes I am aware that I made up a word. lol ) the sizes of carriers. The one that I am in love is the Alex - Denim and they only have it available in these dimensions 14"x5"x8". My Bella is 4.5lbs (mostly hair) and she is not super tall or anything. Do you think I should get the 14"x5"x8" Alex-Denim or the Alex Luxe-Black Patent 17"x8"x11"? I really appreciate your help!!! Pictures are below 1: The Alex-Denim 2: The Alex Luxe-Black Patent *I posted this in the general discussioin forum but I didn't get any replies.* |
Well, my Maddy is 6.5 pounds and I have the Large Luxe Bag for her. Is your baby long?? I think you would be ok with the smaller size. Just a personal note, the handle on the Luxe looks much more high-end than the regular Alex. Who/where are you planning to buy from? :) v |
I would Go with the larger size |
I used to have the Alex Small bag and Cassi fit into it perfectly. She used to be 4.8 lbs and just recently put on some more weight and is now 5.1 lbs. I also have the Alex Large bag and I can fit both Cassi and Ori (2.8 lbs) in it perfectly. I like the Alex Luxe bag too! |
I got it!!! I found an amazing deal on the small Kwigy-bo Alex denim (new and only $74.00 shipped!)and I could not pass it up! Bella LOVES it! She had just enough room to be comfortable and now that she has had a little haircut she has even more space. This is my absolute favorite carrier (and Bella already had 3 before this one), I'm already planning to get the large patent leather Kwigy-bo Alex Luxe very soon to add to my collection. The work on the handle is gorgeous. :) Thank you for your help :) |
Kwigy bo states the small bag is good up to 10 pounds. I imagine if you get the larger one she will have more room to lie down. I am wondering what others think. Is a small good for a 6 pounder? |
My Bella was larger than I thought! :eek:She was 5.7lbs right before her haircut, BUT she fit into the small perfectly. I would definitely recommend the large for longer trips. But Bella loves to get in her bag and has room to comfortably lay down (but not enough room to turn around) for shorter trips. And I love the bag so much, I have even carried it as a purse. :p |
