Wanted - satiny tank tops I love to dress Murphy & Chelsea in their little outfits, but I hate the matting the clothes cause. I was thinking if I had a little tank tops made of a satiny material that I could put on under their regular stuff, maybe there wouldn't be so much matting? Has anyone tried this? Do you know of anyone that makes these, or that would be willing to make a few for me? Thanks! |
No one? |
I've heard this does work, and I've noticed that some people are adding a silk/satin lining to the regular clothes like dresses, etc. to prevent mats. Maybe one of the clothing designers will see this and will be able to customize something for you. |
Great idea! Hope someone responds soon wanting to make them!! |
Think you can try looking through the list of our many talented vendors/sellers here on YT. A lot of them can custom make items for you :) |
1 Attachment(s) I used to make silk camisoles (undershirts) for dogs and still do occasionally. Honestly they took a lot of time to make and I didn't feel justified charging what I needed to in order to make any money for my time. So I started lining all the clothing I make with satin or silk unless a customer prefers something else. I also make dresses made of iridescent silk This is a dress I've recently finished for a friend's Maltese, it's made of the iridescent silk, in a dark midnight blue. Attachment 263210 |
OMG that dress is gorgeous! I always put tee shirts on under Willow & Jake's sweaters and that does seem to help with the matting.... |
