Faux Croc/Peach Small Pet Carrier for Sale

Price: $30 including shipping/packaging (insurance not included)

Background: I believe this was part of a designer line sold at Petco in the fall/winter of 2006 or early spring 2007. It may have been called a Madison Bag. I used it when we brought Gizmo home from the breeder and until about a month ago. The main reason I am selling it is that while Gizmo can still fit in it, he’s a little cramped. I also have a new carrier for him now. From what I have been able to determine, this is a difficult bag to find.

Description: It is chocolate-colored faux croc with peach details and fabric interior. The hardware looks like it is “antique” brass. It has a removable pad attached to the bottom with Velcro strips. It also has an interior safety strap with claw clasp and another faux croc strap with a loop at the end. It has two exterior pockets with magnetic snap closures.

Damage: It is a used bag, but still in good shape. Gizmo did chew on the outer D ring (one of the close up photos is of the damage), and there was some bunching of the foam pad when I washed it. Since these photos were taken, I undid one side seam, straightened the interior foam and sewed it up again.

Dimensions: The bag (not including handles) is 11.5 x 8.5 x 6. It was fine for Gizmo until he reached about 5 lbs. He’s now 5.6 lbs. and he still fits in it, but he’s a little cramped. I would recommend it for pets up to 4.5 lbs. or so.

Cost and Payment: I am asking for $30 (including shipping/packaging, but NOT insurance) Note: I really don’t know how to do insurance, so if someone could walk me through it, I would be glad to add that on.

I will take PayPal or a postal money order. If you pay with PayPal, I will ship it out the next business day (I need to find a box, packing material, etc…) If you pay by postal money order, I will ship it as soon as I receive the payment.

Shipping: I plan to ship this by US Parcel Post (estimated delivery time 2-9 days)

Just PMd ya! Oh - Izzy gets that way too - she sees her bag come out and she gets all happy and excited so I make sure that's the last thing I crab before we go out the door. :D
