Surgery Bands??? Aubrey is getting fixed next week, and I have seen a few people that sell bands to put around the area where the surgery will be. I have forgot the links to those people, so if you make them or sell them could you please respond. His surgery is next Thursday, so I will need it by then:). Also, what else does would you reccommend to have after his surgery, hes also getting microchipped. |
Hmmmmmm....I don't know if I have seen anything...other than belly bands?! When Mojo was neutered, everyone told us to get a baby onesie.....put it on where the snaps are on the back instead of the underside and we cut a hole in it for his tail. We got a premie size at a baby consignment/resale shop (new with tags) for only 50cents! Mojo didn't have any problems with using this....we kept it on the first day we brought him home to make sure he didn't lick/scratch/nibble at the surgery area. Sorry, I am no help with the surgery bands, but this worked well for us. |
Thanks Mrs. Jenn, thats what I have been told. Thanks:)! Going to get some sometime before the surgery:) |
I made a band for both of my girls when they got spayed. I had two that I washed and alternated giving them time for the stitches to breathe. Let me know if you still need one! |
Ok. How much are they? |
I am getting ready to have Dixie spayed and would be interested in one as well. |

I'd planned on using belly bands. When Reggie was neutered, he was an angel, and we didn't use anything except TLC. |
I make Belly Bands 4 Attachment(s) I make a lot for our local vet offices for use after surgery. They are great to keep them from licking whnen it needs to heal. I also offer Great discounts for my YT BUDDIES! Feel free to either pm me or email me through my website. I also have a ton of fabrics - Over 150 to choose from :) I hope that you find what you need! -Blessings |
You have a lot o cool stuff on your site. I tried to click on belly bands and kept getting the placemats. You might want to check the links. Just FYI. Are the belly bands still $5.50 each? I saw a lot of fabrics there...wow! Which fabrics would work best for the surgery ones? I would assume cotton, but wasn't sure. Would the flannel get caught in the stitches? |

HI, Sorry about that I am always updating and sometimes it gets mixed up. I will fix it right away!! here s the direct link... http://www.puppywraps.com/BellyBands.html Yes the are just $5.50 and I just updated the fabrics and have over 150 now :) I also offer bulk order discounts on top of my super low prices too! I do use the print fabric with a super soft flannel interior. I have gotten many re-orders from the vets and they have not said any issues with the stiches sticking at all but I am happy to do just another print fabric inside if you wish. The main thing is just to keep them from messing with it during recovery :) Let me know if I can help! -Blessings, KA |
