I only paid $23.90 for my size 2, new. So, this might be why you aren't getting too many takers.

Marcel was kind of picky at first w/ his Buddy too - so I started him on a regular canvas step in and then moved quickly to the Buddy - it didn't take much at all. Would that worth a try. I just love these Buddys - they're so sharp looking.

I bought It from Bark and Fitz in Montreal, it's an upscale pet accessories store may be that's why I paid 44 CDN . Where did you get it at 23 usd????
When I put it on Royce he just refuses to walk :confused: and when i put his other harness on he walks as usual .
I will try again ( someone on the street told me it might be hurting him since Royce is small ) . Otherwise I will return it to the store for a credit .

Oh goodness! What a price! I got mine at Metropawlis.

I think Marcel was funny about it at first bc it definitely is heavier than a normal harness - and he's a pup, so he's not used to harnesses in general. Is yours a puppy?

It really did work for me to use the lighter harness first, maybe 3 or 4 times, then move to the Buddy.

Also, I have an adult dog - so it helped that Marcel was encouraged to follow Wylie. Do you have another dog that would motivate Royce to walk? Maybe borrow a neighbor's dog, LOL? Often when another dog is present, they don't care what else is going on, they just want to do what the other dog is doing and could care less about that darn harness....

I have 4 of these and realy like them, yes they are spendy, i orderd mine direct, This is the Hot Pink that she is showing, and you probebly wont be able to get them anymore as they disscontinued this color. You can find the usual colors cheeper at some sites, but i doubt you can find the specialty colors. Give it a chance !;)

Max is 8 pounds. Where do I measure and how do they size? Also, what's their S&H fee?

I could call customer service, but it's too hot to talk to anyone. If you don't remember, I'll just call them.

Lulu is 2.5 lbs and 9.5 inch on the girth...kind of confused as to whether to get the size one or two...any help appreciated.

Personally, I'd get the size 2. Then she has room to grow... half an inch isn't much of a difference anyways. A wee bit too big is a heck of a lot better than a little too tight.

That's what I was thinking. I know the vet said now that she is spayed she might actually get up to three lbs.
