I need belly bands!! I am looking for belly bands and a harness. I've been looking and can't find any I like. I seen a post on here a while ago with a link for a website where the lady makes them out of designer fabric. Anyone know what I'm talking about?? Any info will be appriciated! I need them...um...yesterday! lol;) |
I would like to suggest Puppywraps.com She is a yter and has great belly bands. They are well made and wash well. |
I've gotten them from Des at gofetch, Rena at Barkingdogs, and just ordered some from puppywraps. What size do you need? I have some that are too small for Alphy that I might be able to send you. He is about 15", but for whatever reason the ones I have are too tight around his middle. :( http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12018 |
How about Cindy.... She has wonderful silk ones that won't damage hair. Belly Bands http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76407 Harness: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77448 |
Yep - I do :) 4 Attachment(s) Thanks Tiggerr36792 and Tigerwit for the referral. I will send her a PM. PS - Alphy should be getting his bands soon. The embroidery turned out nice! New Fabrics too... |

Thank you all, I might just have to order from all three too! :D My lil' Johnny is only 9 1/4" around. So I need X-Small ;) .....ok, I'm going web shopping! I'll keep you updated.:) Ok, another quick question.....velcro vs snaps???? Which is better or does it make a difference? |
I would say velcro.....just because it gives you that added size adjustment too. Snaps, I would think, would be hard to press done on their back??? But I don't know. I remember awhile back, Kristin (she use to have a store on YT), made some w/ snaps, but I don't know how well they did. I think most make them w/ the wide velcro. |
3 Attachment(s) Cindy's are really great, the silk doesn't mat the hair up like the other ones...I haven't gotten any good pics of Bear yet....but here is what I have of him in his from Cindy's...:) Mac & Bear don't mind wearing these at all...:D |
I also meant to tell you the silk wash and dry great...I have washed the devil out of mine and they look good as new....I machine wash & dry them.....:) |

I haven't tried snaps. I prefer my velcro to run lengthwise and not width wise. They seem to fit him better that way for me. |

I think it is a personal preferance, if they are still growing - velcro, hate the sound - snaps. Most of my customers prefer velcro but I have a couple that love snaps. My snaps are heavy duty so they don't snap open on you. You need to NOT press on their backs. Just carefully slide fingers in to snap. Then stick your fingernail in between the snaps to take it off. Again, most prefer Velcro :) |
