You might wanna check out Tinkerbell's Closet! Her Custom made PJ's are the Stuff!!! She made a couple of PJ's for Pixie while I was out there!!! Let me tell you.. They fit like a glove! And all I gave her was her length and her chest measurements! That's it! And you would swear that the Fairy God Mother herself waived her wand and made these PJ's! They really fit that well! She wore the leopard print ones for four days straight! and the purple ones for a whole week when she got home! She just loves having them on! I bought PJ's from a few different companies before in size XS and XXS and then once on SM... none of which would fit her right... Too tight, too long, too big, too long in the leg, too long in the body... I don't know who the original model was for some of these pajama makers... but they weren't Yorkies! So to finally have a PJ that fits my Pixie like a second skin... Well I am MORE THAN IMPRESSED! Mass Produced Dog Clothes are fine if you talking about a shirt or a fashion dress... but if you want something "fitted" like PJ's or a harness dress, go with QUALITY! Go with someone like Shana who has been Sewing for 3 years and has been refining her designs and patterns! She has taken the basics and improved quality and the integrity of her work! And on the stuff like her harness dresses she has made them the safest they can be for our babies! I sat in her work room and saw how much work goes into a single harness dress! I was floored! The D-ring is sewn in so well that I could not remove it with all of my might! The seams are so reinforced! And the Velcro is super thick and heavy duty, its not going to fail! I actually have harness dresses that have much smaller strips of velcro, so small that I am afraid to use them now! Now that I have seen QUALITY, I won't settle for anything less for my babies. Its just not worth it! I know the good stuff costs more, but my babies lives are worth it! Trust me, you'll LOVE the hand made PJ's from Tinkerbell's Closet!!! If your willing to spend $20.00 on PJ's then I am going to sell you a pair of Shana's PJ's for $20.00 including shipping! All you need to do is contact her with your payment and let her know what fabric you want and give her the measurements! I think she has some prints that aren't on her site. Anyway, that's how badly I want you to try them! I really hope that you take me up on this! I think you'll be Sooooooo Pleased! Just make sure you give good measurements so you get a good fit! petedge.com has them for like $2 or $3. They have different colours, too. |
I'm still tweaking my pj patterns, so I only make them in one size for the time being.. but I do know that barkindog.com has them for 10.00/11.00/12.00 depending on size w/free shipping :) |
