Pink Crocheted Sleeveless Dress 3 Attachment(s) I crocheted Pixie an adorable little pink dress... I tried it on her periodically throughout, but when I got done, it just didn't quite fit. It's a little snug, and her front paw doesn't move easily enough for snug fits. Actually, it would likely fit her pretty well if she had full range of motion in her leg and could get it on. Pixie is about 10 1/2 inches around her chest (I'm sure there's words for this like "bust" on humans... but I don't know it :p), so this should fit a sweetie who is about that size or a little smaller. I'll sell it for $15, shipping included if anyone's interested. Also, I may be able to make more depending on time if anyone is interested in different sizes/colors. Here's some pictures :D First is a top view, then a bottom view.. and of course, a side view! |
What a cute sweater, you did a great job!!! It is a too small for Destiny but I love the color and design you did!! |
That dress is SO cute! I love the color and the flowers on it too. Unfortunately, Lulu is 13" in the chest area so it wouldn't fit her but I bet someone will snatch it up! |
Aww, well thank you :D I was so excited about making it... but she's only got about 80% range of motion in her front leg... and she can't bend it up to put the dress on. I had tried it on her throughout, but when I added that last little ruffle to the bottom, that did it for her. :( It really fit her nicely until then. She actually snapped at me when I tried to bend her paw "just a little more".... I guess that was her way of saying "OUCH! That hurts! It doesn't move that way!" I'll be finishing my research paper here in another hour so so (Thank GOD!) and then if I don't fall asleep, I may work on another one. More for the fun of it though, because she is really hard to dress with her stiff leg. Poor baby. |
That is SO cute! I wish it would fit one of my pups! |
Aww, is yours too big, too? The one I started last night is larger... but it's not exactly the same. |
Very cute! I might have to try something like that. I like the idea with the ribbon in the top so you could pull it closed a little. That way it's still big enough to pull over their heads. Isn't it frustrating to come out too small though. When Chloe was a little speck, I crocheted a small sweater for her, and the first one was too small--even with how tiny she was. Now I look at those two little sweaters and I can't believe she's grown so much! ETA: how do you do that ruffle stitch? |
Awww, that is adorable! |
