Looking for glow in the dark products I know some of you ladies sell dod items here and I would like to know if any of you sell glow in the dark leashes and harnesses. I take Chikis my chihuahua for late walks at night and sometimes i feel like drivers can't see us very well, althought I'm very carefull when walking him. Anybody has any ideas where I can get those products? Thanks |
I have been thinking about glow in the dark for a while. I have a couple ideas, pm me and I'll run them by you..... btw.... what are dod items? I don't get to spend as much time here as I would like and sometimes I miss out on some really cool stuff.... |

I just bought a matching collar and leash at Target. The leash and collar are actually black, but it has little bones on both that glow in the dark. It was very reasonably priced at 3.99 each. I had to return the collar though because it was too big for mine (4 pounds). |

I'd be interested in knowing your ideas too. Not just for Alphy but for my Golden Abby too. I walk her at night and I bought a collar at Target, but it gets lost in her hair and you can't see it, so what's the point? Anyway, I'm interested if you come up with something. :) thanks |
I'm not sure how it would work, but I think I'm going try embroidering names in glow in the dard thread. I don't know how long the "glow" would last, but I'm gonna give it a go. |
1 Attachment(s) I do not have any glow in the dark bows but, I make some safety bows that have the reflective material in them. It will help cars see them at night. The orange is available now and I will be adding green this weekend. I have it in 7/8 and 5/8. https://www.shop.katybows.com/displa...5&categoryId=3 |
Cute bows! Very cute! |
Glow in the dark from Donald Pliner Hi On a recent trip to Florida I was delighted that a dog store had opened up in the town that we always visit. I bought Vivi a beautiful tomato-red harness and matching leash. The leather is really soft and the part of the harness that goes around her neck is rolled leather and it glows in the dark.During the day it just looks like silver/grey leather and blends in with her fur. I love it...It is made by Donald Pliner and is from his Babydoll Pliner line named after his dog, Babydoll. There is a silver boneshaped charm on both leash and harness that says Babydoll. The name of the store is Horse and Hound and it is located in Boca Grande, Fla. The harness and leash are made in Italy of a high quality leather and it shows in the construction. I highly recommend them:) :) |
I did a quick search and found Atomic Pet. They have leashes and collars that actually light up! Looks pretty cool! |

Glow in the dark... Well you can get the blinkable charms that go on the collar or harness. They are great and they blink on and off with motion. The only thing is that you may have to replace the battery every few months. http://www.jefferspet.com/ssc/produc...lars&area=&r=1 |

I don't think you can order direct from them.... Their Retailer Page has a couple internet retailers listed.... Priceless Pet is one of them. |

I will have some pics of collars posted later this evening. :D I will also do some experimenting to determine the length of time the collars will glow..... |
I finished Peppy's glow in the dark collar..... I am not satisfied with the results so it's back to the drawing board. The collar glows very brightly for about 2 minutes and then starts to fade. The problem with a Yorkie and a glow collar is that their hair is so long and they are so low to the ground that the collar just doesn't show up. I have some other ideas I am working on, will share them when I get my order in..... :) |
I'm a Precious Pup had some vests, Rosi has one that i orderd from there ! |
