LOL !! I Know that was to me and my point was NOT trying to be RUDE... I'm not a rude person ever....but I sure see that word getting thrown around lately....I do think some people should look at their own actions before tossing around those kinds of words. I posted what I said for a few reasons. One of which was because of the online store Dreamy Dogs ....and I just don't want ANYONE to ever be taken advantage of. There is a difference in asking for a donation and outright charging for something most people can do easily and on their own computers... in no way was I trying to be rude.... lots of people don't realize they can make their own desktop wallpaper or screensaver with a few clicks of the mouse... I have nothing against Elizabeth and what she's doing at all. |
Thank you SoCalyorkiLvr for the moral support. And for the record, I'm proud of my website. I'm not "taking advantage" of anybody. There are many many "web only" stores on the internet, and I don't have ANYTHING to apoligize for. Most of the people on this forum are nice grown ups, and I have made some friends. But like my mom says, if you don't feel good about yourself, you're not going to be nice to other people... If the issue is prices, most people understand that there is a difference between wholesale and retail prices. There may be one or two items that can be bought cheaper on a retail level elsewhere, but that's like screaming at one store for selling the same groceries for double the price of a cheaper store. I try to think about what I say on here very carefully before I say it, and some people don't do that. Perhaps "rude" is not the correct term, maybe "hostile" is more apt... |
Elizabeth...I don't want to come across as hostile. Many of your items weren't yours to sell ....but I have a feeling you've rectified that situation... there are people right here on this site that have done extensive work to get their sites up and running with permission to sell the items they sell For instance - Taking something that may cost 3 dollars at PetEdge and reselling it at a 300% markup and calling it a "Limited Edition" is legal yes - but it also gives people cause to be wary of other online shops... I think you have a site you can work with but it's always best to be honest up front.... |

Im new here but i have to say I dont think anyone was being rude. I think it's great that people do things for others as favors. I think someone was just trying to point out a few things that werent honest about your site. I have visited your site and I think it's great someone your age is trying to do an online store. I think people just wanted to make sure that everything was on the up and up. It looks like you have rectified the situation and thats great. I definietly dont think anyone was being hostile, but along the lines of being concerned thats all. |
Thank you ! when I saw it said that people like me are "rewarded" ...I had to laugh and agree - I get to see all those cute little yorkies flashing under user names and know I helped some members have one....that IS a reward :) |

They are for a background with everyone's dogs on it. I hate to have this going on between us PlatinumYorkies, do you want to be friends? Post some pics on here with your dog standing on it's hind legs and I will put your dog in the background too. I have a cute idea, but it's supposed to be a suprise! |

It's not any trouble at all, I LOVE making backgrounds. Unfortunatly I don't have the software to make avatars, I will look and see if I can get a free trial...lol. |
