I have a large Jaraden Getaway Pet Carrier in bronze metallic for sale for $160. New, never used. The bag is a gorgeous, soft metallic bronze pebbled faux leather, with tons of pockets & a removable mesh divider for the option of carrying 2 pups. Has anyone used the Jaraden Getaway or similar 'Purse' Carrier for travel on an airplane under the seat in front of you? I normally use the Sherpa, because it looks more "official" and didn't want to have a problem letting me on with my dog. Just curious if it fits well under the seat.

What a beautiful bag! Are you sure the capacity is 16 pounds? I have a 7 and 6 pounder and didn't think they would fit in the Jaraden...

I haven't used one myself, but I've heard of people who do.

It's actually a large Getaway. The dimensions are 18”W x 10”D x 12”H. Although I didn't try to fit my 2 inside, just by looking at the bag, I can tell that it's definitely possible. Mine are both 8 pounds. It has a removable mesh panel inside, so you have the option to separate two pups - but they're still able to see each other. It's also very sturdy. The faux leather is gorgeous. I'm very impressed by the materials. It doesn't look cheap at all.

Here's a video of the bag without a dog inside. The one that I'm selling has a bordeaux interior, not black like in the video. Also, the bag in this video looks like it's partly fabric on the outside (from the curved seam). The one I have is all faux leather. You should be able to tell by the photos. I just wanted to show a link to video so that you can judge the size of the bag.

Here is a video from the actual Jaraden website with a dog in the bag. The size of the bag is the same. Although, the materials are different.

I'm also attaching a photo of the bag with 2 pups inside. I forgot to mention in my original post that I'll ship the bag for free.

Wow, I didn't know there was a large Jaraden. In the second video, that is a rather large dog... Impressive! My two definitely don't need the divider, but that is cool!

I have three large Kwigy Bo Alex bags and didn't realize there was another bag out there of similar size...

It is actually. I completely forgot I had this bag. Lol. It's wrapped up in the original plastic & shipping box if you're interested :)
