Buddy Belt For Sale 2 Attachment(s) I really love the Buddy Belt, I really do. But it's not really the perfect harness for Jackson, especially in the summer, because he's constantly running and getting messy, wet and dirty so I never want to use it. We need something a little more able to be washed and get dirty. I almost feel bad listing it... because we do love it. It hasn't been worn or used in months. It's in great condition, only been walked in, lightly used, but no scuffs or marks etc. I figure I'd see if there was an interest and if not, well it will stay with us! It's a black leather size 5. Bought for $72 + shipping. Will sell for $50 shipped. |
let him wear it. I know it was expensive, but it only gets better with wear, dirt, scratches! They love it when it gets soft and worn in. I've even seen some people leave them on their furrbutts as if it were a collar (once it's worn in) and its GREAT on the fur, Well the few people I know who have BB have had NO problems with knots because of the harness, I think that's a BONUS! Keep it! |

I'm measuring Teddy Bear to see if it will fit him. |
He is about 18 - 18 1/2" around his chest, and 16 lbs. Do you think it would fit him? |

Doodlebug - the 18" girth is at the top measurement for the size 5, see the Buddy Belt size chart. I don't think you could put the size 5 over a sweater or coat. Maximo could help you get the correct size for your Teddy Bear!! :aimeeyork Buddy Belts Measure & Fit |
I find the sizing to be a tad off... I bought both the 6 and the 5 for Jackson, and while they both fit (the 6 only fit him on the tightest hole and left a long flap)... the 6 was just TOO big (and wider too) so we returned it for the 5. I can fit it over a jacket (maybe not a really thick one, but yes sweater/jacket/etc, the Buddy Belt fits over). I'll pM you. If it doesn't fit for some reason, you can send it back! |
Here is a photo of Jackson in a sweater with it on the 2nd to last hole http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/...1/IMG_3580.png Technically, Jackson's girth is nearly 19" (I think it's like 18.7" when measured out, I just checked my phone where I saved his measurements). so there's no way it's only to 18" at the top girth size, it wouldn't fit him on 3 different holes. |
Britster - your Jackson is adorable. I know sizing can vary. Sorry, I was just going off the website chart. Maybe my Aussie could wear the Carrot BB in a 3.5 size?? That is at the top of that size range for him...Hummm :) I really wanted the Orange color for him :) lol ~ I got him a different one in the size 4 instead... |

Awww Brit you should keep your BB, Peanut’s BB has been through lakes, snow, sand, beaches- everything and anything and it still looks amazing!! He was went in the lake swimming with his BB on and the water did nothing to it!! |
Well, it sounds like Jackson's Buddy Belt is going to a great home. You will love it. My Khloe is an in between size too... I think for her next BB, we will be getting the size up and have a shoe repair place add some more holes. The 2 is kinda tight, but the 3 is way too big. We love our Buddy Belts, but I think they should have more half sizes. |

I just received the Buddy Belt. It fits Teddy just great on the third hole, and there is even room to spare. There is so much room to spare on the last two holes that I think he will have room for a heavier coat. It is really nice! Thanks Brit! |

I think Teddy Bear really liked his BB. You should have seen him this morning on his walk. He had his tail held high (he has a long Bichon tail) and pranced so proudly. He seemed to have more pep to his step than usual. |
