Also are these harnesses meant to be left on for long periods of time or just for walks and "potty time?" It just seems that they would be heavy to wear all the time. Thanks! | Congrats on your new baby!
The harnesses are super light weight. Not even 3 ounces. My boys will nap in theirs when we return from walks, although we don't usually leave them on all day. The leather is soft (especially on the smaller sizes) and gets even softer with use.
At 2lbs, the size 1 would probably last her awhile. Also, the Size 1 is relatively inexpensive. It is such a great harness that I think it is worth it. You could keep it as a memento if she moves up to a larger size, or sell it here when she is finished with it. Buddy Belts are so durable and often look brand new after years of use. My boys give their BB lots of abuse and they still look new! Here is Teddy's BB that has lots of miles of use on it: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...fer-bb-003.jpg
ETA: The Size 1 is probably 1 ounce. No heavier than any other harness. :) |
