Yes, there is a sliding "O" ring that accommodates any leash. When the harness is on the dog, the ring sits between the shoulders.

Our Buddy Belts that we ordered from Maximo came today! :thumbup:

I love them!! I took a bunch of pixies already! I'll try to get them uploaded and post them later today.

Kristin I have a question about the BB's. Jada and Bogie's BB have to be on the 2nd hole if wearing clothes and on the 1st hole if they are nekked. I ordered theirs back when they both had hair and Jada has finally lost the extra poundage I packed on her when we first got them. When we first got the Buddy Belts they were both wearing them on the 3rd hole. They still work well it is just I am wondering if they are too big on them now.

They still stay on them fine and don't seem to rub.

Ideally, the BB should not bag off of the body. However, as the people at BB told me, some people do like them a little larger on their dogs. The main thing though is that the harness is tight enough that your kids can't escape.

If you look at this picture of my boys, Teddy on the right, the BB is too large and is puckering away from his arm (which is probably why he has a little tangle there too). He is wearing an old size 4 and I moved him to a size 3.5 and it is much better.

I have no problem with them escaping, but if they were to lose any weight or get more toned I have no other holes to go to if they aren't wearing clothes. I also haven't noticed the puckering. I will have to look at that tomorrow.

I will have to check Buster's fit too. He is on a diet and we have lost a pound so far and hopefully more over time so the size I have for him might be too big. He has never been a big fan of harnesses but he is really good about putting on the BB. He just stands there and lifts each leg up as we slide it on.

The color is very vibrant and bright orange. Very pretty. Would be a great color for a boy or a girl. And even though I wasn't expecting anything in the mail, it sure did get here fast since I read Kristen was selling these. :thumbup:

Uni looks adorable, and I LOVE the orange. I keep debating on whether or not Levi needs a BB. This didn't help. I would have normally ordered black, but that orange is fantastic. :D

I love the orange one!!! There is a "carrot" one that I have had my eye on! Peyton looks really good in fall colors...red, orange, green, yellow, etc. ;)

Here is Peyton in "butter" and Sophia in "taupe lizard"....Maximo is the BEST!!!

Yay! I wonder what colors M&M will choose? :)

Everyone's furbutts look so beautiful in their different color BBs. Loving the orange (Carrot) on Uni, the Butter on Peyton, and the Luxury Taupe Lizard on Sophia. I want more colors for my boys and you are making the choice harder and harder for me. :p

Bitsy's leashes are Fabuleashes, which thanks to Bitsy, I will be carrying in my boutique. :) My first shipment was supposed to arrive today. Hopefully tomorrow.

How well do these hold up? I really like them, it's just a pretty big investment [for me personally] to spend on a harness!

Joey's had his for over 5 years; it's one of those things that get better with age. If it gets wet don't let it dry in the sun or with any type of forced heat, just lay it flat and let it dry naturally. Also, don’t let you dog have access to it when it’s not on him. The main problems I’ve read about are when dogs have chewed on it. Dog will chew on leather.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll wait and let Nilla mature a little more on that one, lol. I'd hate for her to chew up a $50-60 harness! Plus she may keep on growing.

I just hang mine on a hook when I take it off him, so there's no way he can be tempted. How old is Nilla? I think I would wait untill around a year, but you do have some leeway.

I agree, it is a big investment and I had my doubts before I bought one for Max. I also agree that I would wait until your little girl is fully grown. Max started in a Size 3 and I ultimately moved him up a size and gave his little brother the smaller one.

This is Max's Buddy Belt. It is 1.5 years old and has lots of mileage from daily walks on it, including in rain and snow. I have never put any kind of leather treatment on it (like BB recommends) or cleaned it any way. In fact, Max ran around a muddy baseball diamond at the park right before I took it off him to take this picture just now:

I'm like Nancy and hang up the harnesses out of the doggies' reach. My boys don't chew the BBs when they are wearing them (the guys sometimes nap in them when we return from walks), but I wouldn't be surprised if they tried nibbling on the harnesses if I left them in an accessible place.
