Chattiesmom - if you are waiting for an order from me 2 Attachment(s) An update and an apology for all those waiting on orders from me. I am running late - no excuses but here's an explaination. Most of you know that my leg was seriously injured in a 4-wheeler accident in '07. I have struggled with chronic pain since the accident. Anyone who has ever had long term chronic pain knows that it affects you 24/7. I have tried to bury myself in my sewing and ignore the pain, however, my pain meds aren't helping and the pain has intensified. Trying to find relief from the related back and hip pain, I visited our family Chiropractor. Dr. Pete didn't like the looks of my leg so he took an xray which revealed that the titanium rod had broken and was displaced. I hope to get in to see an ortho on Tuesday and from there I don't know what to expect, but I feel certain that surgery is in my near future. I have two GE orders still to ship, which will go out tomorrow. I have pm'd the GE Buddys who placed the order and hopefully they will understand and let me ship them directly to the receiving buddy. I will work as hard as I can to get all remaining orders completed by this coming Friday. However, anyone who would prefer a refund, please just send me a pm. Until I visit the ortho and have a better understanding of my immediate future, I will not be taking any new orders. Hopefully the docs will be able to get me fixed up so I can get to work! I am so depressed, and feel like I have let so many of you down. For this I truly apologize. For your viewing entertainment, here's the what it should look like and what it does look like. |

Honey, I know where you are coming from and I truly feel sorry for you. I have rods, cages and screws in my back and I can relate to your pain. I would love to help you out in any way that I could but I am not by you. If you think of something that I can help you with then please let me know. Sorry you are not feeling well. I have sent a few requests for harness and leash set. I haven't heard back so I do not know if you have gotten it. I understand if you are not feeling up to it. Just let me know. Thanks Nancy |
That looks so painful! Good luck at your ortho appointment. Hopefully they can replace the rod without additional pain for you. |

No wonder why you have been in pain!!!! Hopefully the docs can fix you up and you will be feeling better! Very soon!!! Let us know when you get back on your feet.... I may have to order a new set of harnesses/leashes for my 3 furkids one of these days! There's no treatment for chronic pain, which makes it the most difficult to live with. I'm sorry you have to go through all of this! I hope you the best and a speedy recovery if surgery is needed. Please keep us updated! |
Chronic pain is terrible. Cindy, I did not know this when I was inquiring about my harness'es. You should have told me! I'm wishing you a speedy recovery and hope you are able to get back to the harness'es soon. They are the best (and I need a couple of more). |

I just wanted to offer good thoughts to you. I agree with others that you should just focus on getting yourself better so you may enjoy life more. It already looks like everyone is being so understanding.:hug: |

Oh Cindy, I am so sorry! Well now, the doctors will know what to do and can set about making you feel better! I want to order some more wee wee pads soon! I love the ones you sent. But for now, just feel better! |

I hope you get better soon. I can't believe you have any customers that wouldn't understand. I can't say I know how you feel, I'll be 60 soon and have never broken a bone ( knock on wood), although I can not say the same for my kids. Feel better soon! |
Wow...Cindy....I am sorry you are in so much pain and might have to have surgery again. It must be so difficult to live with that kind of pain day in and day out. Hopefully your pain will lessen once the rod is fixed. I did place an order with you for two harnesses...one for our ge buddy and one for Trixie....please let me know what you would prefer to do about them.....I will do whatever you need even if you need to cancel the order....no problem. I understand that life happens sometimes :) Let me know what you decide and let yourself heal. My thoughts are with you....keep us posted! |
I am so sorry to hear about your condition. I also suffer from severe chronic pain so I totally understand what you are dealing with. I also know what you are facing. I really don't want to cancel my order with you but if you feel it is too much for you to accomplish I certainly don't want to put you through that. I don't mind waiting if you feel you want to do it. I just found your post. I was wondering if something was wrong. At least you know what you are dealing with now and I hope they can get this particular problem solved soon. I pray you will get more relief from your pain somehow. Sometimes you just need to change the medications until you find a combination that really helps. |
