So you donate 1/2 to charity and keep the other half?

I don't care if people google my screen name. That is not the point..

I am simply asking those of you who may have any issues with me to please PM me or something explaining yourselves.. You have no idea how many people are trying to shoot me down for trying this this. Probably have no idea how EXCITED I was when I came up with this idea. Now I feel awful, like giving up a bit because everyone is constantly warning people that I might be someone else without even personally talking to me.

You would think fellow dog lovers would contact me before trying to rain on such fundraiser type projects..

Yes I donate half keep half. Thats my honesty and what is stated in that contract. My mother's job got totally knocked out due to Hurricane Katrina so a bit of extra cash would help. At the same time, I cannot do this and keep all the money for myself. I can't even keep 75% of the money for myself. I kind of want to help with the puppy mill problems. Giving the organizations that bust them more money to do so.

But with that aside I dont think I understand the whole project exactly. I am just a cautious person. I am not trying to accuse you of anything. l I just have read the whole thing and still dont quite get it and would like to better understand. Thanks :)

My Xanga site says I'm 16? I just looked at it, states my birthdate 05/06/1990.. I wish I was 16. lOl Hell, I'll take a picture of my student ID and put it on here!! I am DEAD SERIOUS. I'm pretty much desperate.

Ok, quick overview of project..

Each breed has a different web shop on CafePress.com
Each breed has its own design with 50 headshots of that breed on the design.
The people who have their dogs on the design usually want to buy the products.
The products are not advertised to anyone else (no one else would buy them anyways because their dog is not on it).
Once those peoples photos are used for those designs I delete them from my computer and never use them again. I don't want to. They were for that design for those people ONLY.
Whatever money I make off what I sell is split in two.
Half goes to charity, half goes to my family.
I made $111 of the German Shepherds, thats $55.05 to me, $55.05 to charity.
I was hoping to make the same off every breed so I could get over $1000 for charity.
I am now seriously doubting I can do that, simply because many people are extremely weary (which is understandable)
I will verify anything you want me too.
I really want to make a difference because I HATE puppy mills and animal cruelty.

Oh and if you haven't noticed I'm not your average 15 year old. My friends would laugh at me and call me crazy for "donating". The only people who really understand what I am doing right now is my Mom and my boyfriend. Both are rather excited for me, and are encouraging me.. But like I said.. I don't know if its happening now.

I want to! I really really want to! I have the extra time, I really could (if everyone would trust me of course which is impossible) make ALOT of money for charity, yes that IS extremely possible, but gaining peoples trust is not.

I googled your name, and came up with the following...

Your Myscene (I think that is the name of it) states you are 16... you have 7000 in the bank and want to make 3000 more for your dream car where you state "I don't care how I have to make the money I will get it"... you are also trying to sell comic books ect... to help get the money for your dream car.

I would be very leary of this, you need to have a contract written by an attorney, but at the same time.... NO ADULT CAN HAVE A CONTRACT WITH A MINOR... said contract would be null and void if it was with a minor (this is why minors can't have a car in their name alone, at least not in my state)

so, even if anyone here "signs" your contract... it would mean NOTHING and you can do as you wish with those pictures.

I not usually into "googling" anyone, but when someone mentioned it I became curious and checked it out.

If you are really that interested in helping puppy mills, go out and educate the public on where pet store puppies come from, what puppy mills are about- you need no money for that.... donate your time to shelters, they are always in need of volunteers... don't use peoples emotions to promote your "business" you can do so many things to help without the need of money to help animals.

It all may sound mean, but I hate to see anyone just give their permission to use their pics for someone elses gain, because they feel they will be helping put a stop to puppy mills.... most of the time when a person does a "charity" thing like you are claiming you are doing, they take out their expense of doing said project and donate the rest, they don't keep any of it.

Also- if your true goal is to financially help put a stop to puppy mills, you need to get in contact with the government, set up a non profit business, become legit, and people would be willing to "help"... because then they will without a doubt know this is for real.

I am not passing judgment, but from MY eyes, your original post was misleading. You didn't state that you were keeping half of the money until AlaskaYorkie mentioned a lawyer and you posted a contract. No offense, but if you were donating ALL of the money, I would consider posting a picture of Stewie.

Also, I would like to add that I am not against making money. I think that if you are keeping 1/2 of it, this should be in the For Sale forum.

I am going to address everything you said.

First off Myspace and the car I want. Myspace does not allow anyone under the age of 16 on. You have to put 16 or over.. If you had looked further down you would have seen where I put my birthdate, saying I'm really 15. Many kids on Myspace do this.. Yes I do want a car. I wrote that a while back. I still want that car. I'll get a "real job" and try my hardest. I don't know where you read I have $7,000 in the bank. I currently have $100, and no bank account. You might have read where it says my family is considering giving me $7,000 (doubtful now because of Katrina) and yes, I would need $3000 more for my "dream car".

Half of the money from this IS going to charity. And trust me, even if its $60 I'm coming back here with proof of where it went just to show you guys I'm not lying. A picture of the reciept (spelling) or written letter saying what I've donated or something. Half is going to my family because we were affected from Hurricane Katrina. We are having to move into a cheaper house in a worse neighborhood because of it. We only had $10 for grocerys last week because of it. If I can help my family out with doing this I am going to. This hurricane came at a bad time for us. Many people after hearing that tell me to keep all the money, but I cannot be that selfish.

I did not know about the contract thing. I know this project isn't going to work now (thanks) but if it was, than I would have done that, and gotten a legal contract.

You tell me to educate people on puppy mills. Ha! I DO! I pass out flyers when I can, I talk to people about it, I have talked many people out of buying from pet stores and have educated many clueless people about it. I hate puppymills with a passion and say something negative about them to someone almost every day.

But screw my idea of rasing thousands of dollars for puppymills. Guess I'm just a lying teenager. Thank you guys. I could have made a difference, but I think I am giving up entirely now. If you all even had the least amount of respect you could AT LEAST private message me with your opinions or questions. I would never be so downright rude and mean to you..

For those of you who posted pictures, thank you for your effort and for the kind words. Unfortunately, I had to delete those pictures off my computer.. I an never going to get the rest anyways..

I appreciate you clearing that up about the age thing. I know it seemed stupid and I wasnt trying to judge you on it. I just have to be cautious and concerning and so when it was mentioned that maybe we should google you username I got curious and did. And then I wondered why the age was different. SO far it looks like you are who you have been claiming to be based on the stuff found on google. However I dont think I will personally be donating a pic. Its nothing personal to you. I just like playing it safe. But I defiently wish you the best with your project and hope you can raise money for animal charities :)
