Cool Dawg Bandannas
 

Summer is coming and I have an option for you to keep your pup cool in the heat and look cute while doing so by wearing a Cool Dawg Bandanna. I've sewn non toxic polymer crystals in the top of each bandanna. These crystals absorb water like a sponge and will stay cool for hours! Just soak your bandanna in cold water for about 15 minutes and your ready to go. Line dry when your finished.

Each Bandanna cost $8.00 and $2.50 shipping! I'll pay the Pay Pal fees.
XS size measures 19" by 4 1/2" and will fit neck sizes from 5"-8"
S size measures 22" by 5 1/2" and will fit neck sizes from 7"-10"
M size measures 26" by 6 1/2" and will fit neck sizes from 8"-12"

What a cool idea. ;)

So how much do these weigh when wet?

We have some of those made for people size. They are amazing the way they work to keep you cool in the hot summer sun. They were a life saver during some of the hot baseball tournaments. What a nice idea to make them for dogs too!

I just weighed an XS size that I over stuffed so you can see how they look in photo #4 and it weighed just 2.0 oz fully wet. So they are very light weight.:D

huh- VERY cool- two questions- are the crystals all the way around the neck? I'm wondering if when wet, does this cause the large part of the bandana to fall to the front?

Also how long do they stay cool?

I do not fill the entire bandanna with crystals too keep them from being too heavy. The crystals are located at the top of the bandanna sewn in a space 1 1/2" from the top and 5" around the neck for an XS, 7" around the neck for a Small and 8" around the neck for a Medium.
For example in Picture #1 you will see a sewn edge coming down from the top of the bandanna. This is where the Crystals are located and if you were to use an XS size Bandanna on a pup that has a 6" neck then there would be about an inch of space where there are no crystals going around the neck. Daisy wears a XS size and the bandanna and the crystals go all around her neck. But if I put the XS on Rosie who is larger the crystals move from the front to the back depending on if she scratches and moves the bandanna. These are extremely light weight bandannas and therefor you do not have the unwanted weight hanging around the pups neck.

I soaked one of my bandannas yesterday and today it is still cool yet the fabric is dry. So you will have several hours of use with just one soaking. I like using cotton fabrics because they dry quickly yet stays cool!

Great so when they wear it- the "triangle" of fabric stays on their back and doesn't fall to their front correct?

Oh no I think that the triangle part of the bandanna can move from front to back. When I put them on my pups I do not tie them very tight so as they run and play or scratch at the bandanna it does move but not because the bandanna is heavy! ;)

hmmm (SO CUTE) i think i better go with small- Layla's neck is 9 inches snug, 10 loose but she is only 6 lbs so I think overall it will be too big if I go with the medium. Pming you now :)
