Does Minksheen make a conditioner? I use the shampoo on Pasquale...but his hair is sorta dry. I LOVE the smell of Minksheen so i hate that i have to mix the smell with another brand conditioner. :confused:

Yes, its in the bottle!!! Its a 4 in 1 shampoo which also includes the conditioner. Once you wash your dog, DO NOT ADD EXTRA CONDITIONER. What you want to do is fight the temptation to add extra conditioner. After you wash allow your dog to dry and just wait. The cedar, citronella, eucalyptus and mink oil will do the trick. I hope this helps. There is some other threads on here where people talk about just this. I know its hard to sometimes not add the conditioner but as long as you are washing to the skin and give them a good rinse...it will condition. Have a great day and feel free to message me anytime. I just got a bottle and this shampoo is awesome. Laya's hair is so soft and smells so good. Tell them not to use conditioner. After I washed her I thought her hair felt kind of hard, but once she dried and was brushed it was amazing.

I would love to get some mink sheen in small bottles to give with my puppy packs to new mommys and to let some precious owners try this shampoo also... I sent you a message... thanks anne

I wanted to try this for my Poppy last year and they told me I was going to get a sample even sent my address but nothing. This was in December I think.

So, if I order a sample via the Mink Sheen site - the sample is 2.95, but the SHIPPING is 7.90?? For a sample?

That is super steep for a sample size, in my opinion. That's too bad - I don't think that price is conducive to giving the product a try.

Hi Ann -- you and I have the same idea. I just ordered my case yesterday and will be sending pups home with a fresh MinkSheen bath and a sample bottle.

Wow! When I ordered my sample last year it was free and so was the shipping.

Hmmm....strange. Yeah, I went to the site this morning thinking I'd try a sample...but not if the sample is over $10. :(

I also called for a sample thinking it was FREE! Nope, they wanted $3.95 and then to charge shipping on top of that is crazy.

I emailed them and told them I had heard great things about their product and included my information asking if they had samples. I had a free sample in a week and no shipping charges so maybe you should try emailing instead of calling

As a long time MinkSheen user, I have found that IF you follow the directions on the bottle and lather up once, let set for 2 to 3 minutes, rinse well then repeat the process, MinkSheen works fantastic without added conditioners. If you get impatient or in a hurry and don't let the shampoo set -- then the conditioning effect is diminished.

I generally DO NOT use conditioners, however on my very dry coated Chattie, I do massage a few drops of 100% pure emu oil in her coat - she also gets a few drops of the same emu oil as a dietary supplement. And I do use a drop or two of Emu Oil if I find a mat.

I ordered a case of samples so that future puppy owners will get an opportunity to try this fabulous product -- my SB will be getting a sample as well. :D

Remember guys this is a FOR SALE thread targeting those of us who would like to purchase a large number of samples for customers/new puppy owners, etc. This is NOT request a free sample thread. If you ware looking for free samples, you might start a new thread in the products wanted section, send Tim a pm, emial him, or give him a call. I have had contact with Tim in all of the above methods, and find him to be very helpful.

It's about minksheen, but, if we would like to try it for ourselves, then yes, we would like samples to see for ourselves if we like it;)

My apologies to Tim for taking this thread off topic. I misread the original post and thought it was about samples for individuals. After re-reading it, I see it is only for bulk samples - so I apologize for asking about individual samples. :)

Thats what I had thought too but kindly Tim gave me a number to call for Minksheen and I only paid 2.95. PM minksheen and Tim will give you a number to call. =)

I just e-mailed the company to see if I could get a free sample. I am going to be breeding in a little over a year or so and if I like it, then I will also get little samples to send with new owners

Ok, so this got really off topic but let me clear up a few things. The website is not designed for giving free samples. So when you go to the site and click on a bottle of 2oz it gives you the price ($2.95) and then what would be the minimum shipping cost for any of our products($7). We are in the middle of updating and creating a new site for MinkSheen so this will be taken care of. We really did not have anything anywhere about free samples eithier. This got started and picked up steam and because of the amount of requests for the shampoo we decided to not charge for the bottle, but only charge what it would cost to ship. We use the postal service for this and just like sending a letter anywhere in the US they have a set fee for this($3.95). So for a sample size we will not charge you the $2.95 for the bottle + shipping, but just the amount to ship it to you directly. I apologize for any confusion or especially the website that I can see is very confusing. We want to make sure if anyone wants to try our product they can for what we think is very fair(shipping). If anyone wants to talk to me directly they can call me at 800-547-9164 or PM me and I will respond to everyone. The easiest way to get the 2oz sample is to call the same number and request one from customer service. They will get it out to you and to those who have requested one and did not get it, I will PM you and I will take care of it. I hope this helps and I am always available if anyone has questions.
