Wow! I just ordered a brush on 4-10-09 and I rec'd it today 4-13-09!!!! Jenny, I don't know how you got that here so fast - you must have some connetions with wings!!! Thank You so much! I really think I'm going to like this brush. :thumbup:

I ordered the blue Madan brush last Sunday (4/12) and I got it Today (Tuesday). Super fast shipping Jenny. Thanks. I am a Letter Carrier so I know that she took care of my order and mail it rightaway.

I love the Madan brush, and I'm so glad we have a Yorkietalk member who is selling these fine brushes. They are a great value! I had the black Madan, and just recently got the blue, and it is indeed softer, tangles come out in a jiffy! Thanks so much for offering these brushes to Yorkietalk members!

Ok, now it looks like I am gonna have to order one of THESE TOO! :eek: You guys are killing me here lol!

Alrighty.....question - I know absolutely nothing about these brushes and I have no idea which one to get :confused: Of course as you all probably know, I like the pink...lol....but I'm sure that someone will tell me that the Green or Blue will be better suited for my babies, hah!!

They both have SILK coats....so which brush do you all think would be best for them? Green, Blue or Pink? I will of course get the one that everyone recommends for a SILK COAT :)

Also, can I just ask (since I am so clueless about these brushes!) what makes them so good? I understand that the pins are beveled....but is there anything else that makes them great? :)

Also, my babies actually don't mind being brushed at all. :)

You'll love these brushes...esp if your babies like brushing time...they will be silkier than ever! I would recommend the blue or green since they have the softest padding. The pink is slightly firmer, not much difference, these will be good as well. The pins will not push back into the cushion (heard that CC brushes do this) & it's a good quality brush that'll last a long time.
When I used other brushes, there would be alot of hair & static & noticed that their hair was breaking. When I use the Madan's, not much hair is on them & no static & no breakage. Best of all...Mimi will stay still for me (she likes getting perty:p) & Momo will actually tolerate (he hates it, he attacks the brush!) brushing.
Feel free to ask me any questions you may have & hopefully someone else will explain how fantastic these brushes are.

From what I understand, the Maden bush has been a favorite of show breeders, however, in the past, you could only get these brushes at dog shows. For those who have both the CC brush, and the Maden, many preferred the Maden brush, and as you probably know, the CC brush is more than twice as much. The Maden brush is also said to last longer through repeated washings. If I were you, I'd get the Pink. :D

Oh yes, I forgot to add that...Thanks Nancy!:D These are a favorite amongst show people & Maltese owners. I think the creator of these brushes is actually a show judge himself. Mimi has silky long hair & Momo has cottony hair which I just recently cut to medium length. It works great for both of them.

Awesome! These sound soo nice...I can't wait to try one! :thumbup: Ok, you said I should get the pink....that's the color I like best - lol...but I wonder if it's as good for Yorkies as the softer, blue and green ones? It seems as though I've heard alot about those two :confused:

Even though I like the pink best (color wise :p) I guess I should be smart and go with whichever one is best for Yorkies :aimeeyork :thumbup: Which one do you have??

I have the black on black, which is supposed to be fairly firm, and also the blue, which is suppose to be one of the softest. Joey has a silky coat, and both work really well, I would say that the blue has a little more "give" than the black. It would seem to me, that the more cottony the coat, the more "give" you would need, but for a silky coat, pick your favorite color, because they all would work well. I think the real difference is that you don't want the black with red pad, as that is a hard brush with no padding meant for dogs with "fur" not hair.

I'd like to know also what color everyone recommends. I currently use a metal straight comb that has one end where the teeth are closer together and the other end is further apart. Using a brush will be new to us but I'd like to get one...now which one...?? :D

i want the pink one too because of the color but think the blue or green would be better. so i'm getting two. LOL Brooke, i think you need to do the same.
